What's with the WEATHER?

here in Romania we used to have such cold winter and magic in same time
this year nothing,a few days snow and that was all

I also think that it gets warmer. We used to have such a clear difference between all four seasons over here. Climate is definitively changing, the weather can be chaotic anyway. And I also can't remember if ever it was around 20 degrees in February, even  January was warm, around zero during the day. And summer, just terrible, not too hot but very humid. We used to have hot and dry summers, which was beautiful.

                I definitely think global warming has something to do with it.  Out in CA  I think you are probably impacted more by  El Nino  than the East Coast.  Here in Tampa it's been  unusally warm this Feb.  Mid 70's  today,  sunny,  rather pleasant outside.  Just didn't quite seem right however.

El Nino is partly to blame, plus climate change.

                    Yesterday (in Tampa)  you could wear shorts --last week we were lighting a fire in our fireplace because it was so freakin' cold.    Weird;  no consistency,  very schizophrenic weather.

Here in Serbia,weather is als ochanged a lot.Few years ago,winters were pretty cold,there were days  when you really did not want to go out ,due to coldness. This month weather is strange.I have  played basketball in shorts and t-shirts almost every day.This condition is not healthy.Winter is good cause when the temperature is under 0 ,there is no bacteria able to survive.

Well in Sunny South Africa the weather has also been strange , we currently suffering with a terrible drought and as a result water restrictions, that combined with heat waves has been making it so uncomfortable that I'm actually really looking foward to winter  8'| Hopefully it rains soon we have the best thunderstorms here usually this time of year

Jenna all I know is that ,here in Texas the entire month of February has been clear skies and between 40-80 degrees.
Today was the first day it has rained here in a month. We are use to crazy weather, but where is my winter.  Flowers are even starting to come up, they are so confused. (lol) I don't know if it is el nino , the presidential election coming up or Donald Trumps hair. But we all need to start paying attention, it is probably going to get worse before it gets better.

So glad to hear you got rain. Hard to live in a city if it has no water.

I am not too worried about global warming. Half of Alabama and Georgia used to be underwater, so until that happens again, it is just history repeating itself. We think 100 years of recordkeeping has shown us the extremes for how many centuries Earth has been around? Not a chance.

i dont know.. but im kinda scared of the weather thats headed for me in north western georgia right now    ... im a new england girl.. not used to checkin for TORNADOES .. OMG 

The southern part of our country is being affected by El Nino, so drought is what they are experiencing.  Even deep wells have dried up so their crops died.  But in my place, the weather is good, but still hoping that no more super typhoons visits us like "Yolanda". 

          Right now  it's  about a  8:15  AM  in Tampa and it's raining.  Weather radar shows what appears to be the blob that ate South-Central  Florida.  Looks like a semi-steady  moderate rain  all day.    Least it isn't cold.

Does anyone recall those winter 15 years ago in South Europe? Cause there is no snow anymore, just disgustingly cold weather, for months...

Tks3773, i dont think that people are ever gonna ban nuclear, it is more a source of power as a military country then it is anything else. if it ever comes to discussion, usa and russia should be last countries to destroy it, since some madman can start WW3 just because he is superior. It happend before.

In 13 November was first snow and today in 21 February snowing again but now is not so cold

we had here a few days even minus 25 degrees in the night in January.

Yeah, the weather changed since my childhood...we used to have relatively cold winters and relatively hot summers, with no extremes. But these last several winters were mild and summers were very hot (going up to 42 C or so). This year, everything is again as I remember it from before..maybe nature is working in cycles, as some say.

I totally agree, the weather has been very all over the place. I'm from Chicago and we had a string of 60 degree days last week and now they're predicting snow. Last night we had a crazy hail storm with hail the size of baseballs. I can't remember the last time we had temperatures in the 60s in February. I'm not complaining about warm weather though! The more the better.... but it's definitely scary to think about what global warming is doing to our planet. It's a very serious issue that, unfortunately, does not get enough recognition. 

Here in Serbia, we have a few days below freezing, and then suddenly a few 70 degree days. All my plants have died one after another in a single week, despite the care I give them, strange. Even my small palms which are very resilient otherwise and could withstand any weather like it's nothing. We used to have hot, dry summers, I remember those well, but not in the last 5 years or so. Now it's mostly warm(ish) winters and cold, rainy summers, which I absolutely hate.  

I live in Mazatlan in Mexico. The city is located next to the Pacific Ocean so we are not too hot during the day and cool at night.

I'm from Belarus. We are already in full swing spring comes, the buds are already swelling on the trees, there is clear sunny weather. The temperature is more than ten degrees.

Planet X is out there and its causing this crazy weather. The Gov isn't telling you this but some we shall all witness it. 

Here we go.....latest weather update on my cell...82 degrees F  here in Tampa.   While it has been fairly warm for several weeks now,  and you could say Spring has come early,  it just doesn't seem  quite right.    Still feel like we should've had more cold days. 

I suppose that that is just a normal thing to happen to planet Earth where the climate changes every once in a while. Obviously, there is global warming, and there will be many of them and many times our planet is going to get colder. I don't think we really can do something about it. Nature!

this topic was in 2016 but now it is january 2018 and the weather is very cold and has snowed here in tennessee. But the sun is out and it is suppose to get warmer this week.

All I know is that some very COLD weather is in The Netherlands right now ... and its planning to stay for a little while aswell ... BRRRRR
