In Remembrance of Blueday
It is with great sadness to announce, we have lost one of the pillars of LCB. Blueday passed away on Friday Oct 1, 2021. She was not only a dedicated team member, but always ready to lend a helping hand to our members.
Blueday joined LCB in 2008, among just a handful of staff at the time, becoming the first Global Moderator. Her expertise in Poker was an excellent asset as the manager of the Poker forum. Her duties continued to grow as she flourished in her responsibilities.
In her private life she had a passion for dance, but her ultimate affection was family and being a grandmother.
I loved to listen to her stories in that classy British way of hers. And I learned a few things about the English culture and lingo along the way.
She is at home now in the arms of her beloved husband.
She is without a doubt our British Rose…….
“A fond farewell to our dear blueday...
I have received the sad news couple days ago that she had passed away last Friday. Our condolences to her family. I'm lost for words and very saddened to hear she lost a fight to cancer. She was a trooper and she will be greatly missed by her LCB family, forum members and casino reps that she worked with, for so many years.
Carol, ( Caz to her friends ), was the very first LCB moderator that I had hired back in 2008, and her hard work and dedication to this site and its members will always be exemplary.
She spent 12+ years with us, for which I will forever be grateful.
Farewell Caz, you will be missed.
love
Nik”
“I 'd like to share something about Carol.
She was a wonderful colleague, and a friend, too. She was patient, kind, ready to listen and share good advice. Over the years we spent a lot of time talking not just about work, but about politics, Brexit, music, our families and friends.
I remember the only time off she would take from work was for her "dance weekends" . That's something she really enjoyed doing - to dance and to teach people to dance. It feels like these conversations happened centuries ago and I'm not sure whether my memories play tricks on me, but I remember her looking forward to it and being happy.
Regards,
Vlad”

"I've known Carol virtually for many years, more than I remember, working on the LCB cashback and other promos. She was a great person to deal with fun, outgoing, and keen to find out how your weekend went and to let you know what she got up to.
She was an asset to the LCB team and community and will be sadly missed by myself and all at Legend's associated brands. Fly high Carol and claim all the cashback from the casino in the sky.
Faby - Vista Gaming
"When Faby heard the sad news she was soo sad, she was speechless for a moment and she said she could not speak about Carol, she didn't know what to say. She didn't expect to hear this from me. Then a few minutes later she just said this:
Thank you, my dear friend. We met by luck, I am sure it was fate. Until we meet again! xx"

"I was completely devastated to hear about the passing of Carol, known across LCB as blueday.
Contrary to her nickname, Carol was always very kind, gentle and calm even in moments when I myself would burst with fury, and in general one of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure to work with to date.
Although we never met in the real world, it was over 8 long years that she was kindly assisting countless LCB members by granting their cashback bonuses each week. With the forum thread already spanning over some ~700 pages and a few hundred $k's given away, a great deal of which is Carol's legacy.
And as passionate as she was about helping players get their extra chips, she had the same passion for her dancing classes or spending time with her loved ones.
Chatting with her was like talking to an old friend. For me personally, part of LCB is gone forever. Rest & dance in peace, a guardian angel forum mod!"
Milica:
"Carol/Blueday was not just a colleague who would always step in when you needed it but she was also a very good friend who always had some good advice and who could always comfort you. She was always optimistic, loved life, her dancing classes, her colleagues and her family. She was a fighter with a strong will to overcome this terrible disease. Unfortunately, she couldn't win this battle. We will all miss you so much dear Caz. Rest in peace."
“I'm terribly sorry to hear of the passing of Blueday. I remember her as the poker moderator when I joined the team in 2009. She had a mighty presence on the forum and behind the scenes through the years. Blue was dedicated to the LCB Network and always ready to help. A true OG. She touched all of us including LCB members and partners. Carol will be remembered fondly around here. Prayers to her loved ones. – Glo”
