    Hi princejuju,

You can't delete the post. The only option you guys have is the 'Modify' button. If you want to delete your post you can always PM our forum moderators and we can do it for you.

thank you dear , your always kind and helpful , i got the answer , but if you dont mind me asking , why dont we have a delete option , i think it would be cool and helpful , just a sugestion

  • Imagine we have the 'delete' option, you guys could delete other people's posts. We don't want that. Thank you for the suggestion! wink

We ruled against it many many years ago. Members were abusing it and deleting posts all the time. This is why we decided to only allow modify posts for a limited period of time ( again to prevent the abuse ).

  • i understand , i honestly just wanted to delete some silly topics that i created , about abusers i just block them or ignore them thanks

  • I accidently double posted a reply once and was looking for the same thing.

I think they should add a delete post option for a short time period after you made the post.

  • To be perfectly honest we currently have other priorities and our developers are working on doing speed imporvements for the entire site, fixing bugs, and doing other projects that are lined up.

We might revisit this in the new year but for now I can only suggest to contact one of the Mods in case you need to delete the double post.

  • Thinking about it from the perspective of the developers I just realised something:

The current framework is built to automatically credit LCB chips instantly after making a post. Now if you want to add a delete post option you'd have to somehow prevent members from posting (gets credits) then deleting. Which could lead to some serious LCB Chip reward Abuse.

I came up with a really simple solution: Simply double check before you hit POST...

Yes you are spot on. this was one of the main reasons why we removed it as it was way too easy to abuse it.

exactly and this is why this is not an easy solution... why for now we wont be reintroducing the delete button...

Please PM me the link where this post is. Why do you want to delete it?

  • Admin note:  It is also against our policy to delete and censor posts unless they are blatant spam or directly in breach of our T&Cs.
