Great road trip movie
Gets a lot of horrible reviews though, but hey people gave inception amazing reviews lol. Well guess this road trip movie is for the ones who have their own opinion instead of being part of the sheeple herd.

Great movie, especially for the girls/women here I think.

I saw "The Fountain."  It was pretty good (and I can be kind of a movie snob, I admit lol).

I'm in the middle (Old Boy) of the Vengeance Trilogy right now.  The first part, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, was awesome--not a dull moment, and one of my favorite foreign films.  It's violent, but we're all mature adults here, right?

Which reminds me:  I watched Braindead - Dead Alive yesterday.  It's directed by Peter Jackson and it's the goriest movie I've ever seen.  It has a goofball comedy feel, though, so it's not like it's really off-putting, imo.

I liked "Rabbit Hole", watched it last week. It's a bit sad but it's a great film.

Just watched Life as we know it and I loved it not only because I love Katherine Heigl.
Every once in a while I love to watch some cute romantic movies and this one was a perfect.

I saw Limitless and Source Code recently. Very unique movies. I'd highly recommend them.

Went and saw Paranormal Activity 3 last week. That is a creepy movie. Came home and wanted to sleep with the lights on lol.

            An obscure movie we saw earlier this year,  3 Idiots.  Excellent story,  great soundtrack,  highly recommend it.

Paranormal Activity freaked me out. I know it's not real but it's still scary. I've seen 1 and 2 and I will soon see 3. Thanks for the heads up liquorman.

My daugher is scared out of her wits at scary movies (covers her eyes and ears at most scary commercials) and even she didn't think it was scary.

No no no! I meant that in the most sincere way. You two are so lucky that it didn't get to you. I get ridiculously scared when I watch horror. Don't know why I put myself through it. I will not watch the Exorcist. No way! Do you and your daughter find that one scary at all gabby?

The Exorcist kept my mom up for months.  Was the scariest movie ever for her.  Didn't scare me or my daughter. 
Carrie scared me growing up but it didn't scare my kids, probably because of its age.

The Strangers scared my daughter... a lot!
She walked by one day while I was watching The Sixth Sense, she freaked and wouldn't sleep.  I made her sit with me and watch it so the only vision she saw would go out of her head.  (It was when the boy was tinkling and the dead person walked behind him.)

I saw Insidious and that scared the crap out of me. Have you seen it? So many scary ones.

I like all the movies of the hollywood. My special interest is in action movies & romantic movie. My favourite movie is Death Race 2, ghost protocol, kung fu pand 2. Its a movie that i want to see again and again. In this movie the all stunts are fantastic. It has good screen play and dialogue. It has great sound effect.

Lately, I've been into (romantic) comedies, which I never cared much about before. Mike, you sound like an expert in that field, do you have any recommendations for me?

Btw, one of the relatively new movies that I really liked was "Source Code" - it's not something you see every day!

Source Code was an excellent movie. I enjoyed that one a lot. I saw underworld a couple of weeks ago and I was very disappointed. It wasn't as exciting as the others and it was left open for another.

I like romantic comedies too. Only You was on TV not too long ago. Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr were great in that movie. Its an oldie but a goodie.

My litle bro bought me Source Code for Christmas.  What a fantasticly clever film that is.  Very different and very well made.

Has anyone seen the film "Taken"?  Liam Neeson stars; what a brilliant film that is.  Very exciting and a very clever movie.

I can't really decide... my Top 3 are:

"À la folie... pas du tout" (probably my favorite movie)

"Fight Club" and

"Der Krieger und die Kaiserin" (I think I watched it at least 6 times).

I loved the movie Taken too blue. I've seen Fight Club but I'm unfamiliar with the others you listed Mark. Fight Club was a pretty good movie.

Yeah, Chuck Palahniuk is my favorite writer and of course the book is better but I still liked the movie very much.

And other two are from my phase when I insisted on watching only European movies. And these two stuck in my head.

I have to agree that the Fight Club book is better than the movie. Personally, it just didn't do much for me, I guess I just wasn't in the right mood when I watched it, and I've been planing to give it another shot for a while now. It's actually good you reminded me of it, I'm gonna go find it somewhere online and watch it tomorrow!

Oh, speaking about European movies, I remember watching a great German comedy last year - it was absolutely hilarious, but I just can't remember its name.  I have to go look it up online, will let you know when I find it, 'cause I warmly recommend it!
