  • Heeey LCB'ers,

I dont know if this is the right topic to make a poll about 'Duplicate' accounts.. Share your secret! :)

First i wanna tell you guys about 'my story' about creating accounts.. I started playing online casino back in 2015 and i was like a newbie.. Now ive learned my lessons but back in the days people like me dont understand anything about T&C's and all that bonus terms and all that stuff.. Ive created lots of multilpe accounts long time ago, mostly on Nektan casino's and Progressplay.. But also at Bethard Group ive must created duplicate accounts they banned me for life. I've tried everything to cover this but so sad Bethard Casino said no way to re-open ur account. So yeahh, ive learned my lessons by now.. So my advise to everyone is just don't create multiple accounts in any way if ur a newbie like me.

If there's different person on the same IP adress most casino doesnt allowed that too. I've lived with some people in a house (roommates) that plays casino's too but i didnt know anything about them. We share internet on same IP, so yea thats not allowed from any casino's to play.

From what i remember is that i no longer acces have to:

Rembrandt Casino, because me and my roommate play's on same IP adress. they closed my account forever..

ProgressPlay & Nektan Casino's, because i admitted bonus abuse back in 2015..

Bethard Group and Breakout Group, dont know about this.. Long time ago, they claimed to say ive created multiple accounts but yea i dont care about these casino's anymore..

William Hill ive acces to play with my own balance but no more free bonuses..

When new casino's releasing i always wanna verify my account before deposit or just wanna verify my account quickly by chat before playing real money.

I hope everyone understand what im trying to say, just dont create multiple accounts!

Share your ideas, thoughts or secrets..! :)

  • I actually did it once long time ago, but not on purpose. Had forgotten that I had an account. This was a casino in the bettson group and they were actually very decent with me and let me keep the win and they closed the old account.

  • I had good gambling "education" so i never created multiaccs. My biggest crime was creating fake acc at fulltilt poker when i was >18. I was going to play for fun.

  • tbh i really dont get those who make multiple accts and then bitch about not gettig paid. well duhhh !

  • no, I don't see any benefit with multiple accounts except to get a ban wink

  • I did in my early days, never knew it was against the rules, and honestly I was silly enough not to read the terms. I registered, but several months went by until I decided to actually play, by then I forgot my account details and created another, couldn't bother trying to retrieve the password. Fortunately I won from a freebie and never really lost anything when they banned me laugh_out_loud Though I have to say, it's not cool how with some casinos you can just make duplicate accounts without any warning or notification, deposit and lose, and it is not until you actually win something that they ban you.

  • Since I play at online casinos, I only had one problem with Quatro Casino who refused to pay my win on the pretext that I have other accounts, but after checking the casino found that I have only one account.

.If you have your own computer and only you who play with this computer on the same IP, I do not think you will have problems with the casinos.

  • I've made once, at beginning, I didn't knew the rules, I found when my withdrawal was avoid.

  • i cant say that I never accidently opened another account, but being in this biz for 11 years and being a player myself I know this is a big no no .

I understand the temptation but in the long run you would just be shooting yourself in a foot.  We had countless complaints where players were not getting paid becuase they had multiple accts.

So be wise , play smart and dont do anything shady wink

  • I don't see any reason why I should have multiple accounts? It's like asking your spouse if you are allowed to have another woman besides her, that's asking for trouble.

  • Yes I did at Unibet

But that was on orders from management ... As I wanted to switch currency on my account :D

Was a little hassle though before everything was smooth again

  • Yes I have and I don’t understand why some of the casinos don’t block it. It was from the same email and it allowed me to register twice. It was an accident because I signed up years before that and forgot that I created that account. I did contact customer support and they removed the duplicate account and everything was fine.

  • Registered in many casinos. Sometimes I forgot that I had already registered, and created a second account. Now I use only one email for the casino, that would not be confused.

  • I created multiples accounts to receive the no deposit bonus offer , but i didnt know that i woud be discovered, sometimes i forget i was already registered too.

  • i crated two acounts, when i ned get first deposit bonus, but one acount is mine and one my wife, why send documents,i dont now, this is multiples or no:)

  • No never it pointless if you get lucky ad win the casino will not pay you out.

people like you that keep abusing casinos and their promotional bonuses is big part of the problem. Why do you think we now have crazy high wagering, crappy bonus offers, less and less free stuff? I blame abusers and multi-accounters for this.

we are too quick to judge casinos for anything we think they did  wrong and seems so easily condoning this player behavior.

  • Creating multiple accounts can cause you only trouble. First and foremost, jurisdictions such as Malta impose on their licensed casinos that their Terms and Conditions should state that multiple accounts are prohibited. Therefore, if you play at serious casinos, you would probably have acted against the T&Cs you agreed with.

Also, if casinos realize that, they might suspect you are trying to 'layer' money for laundering purposes. Good luck with getting out of that.

Multiple accounts are also a red flag for bonus abuse: many try to open multiple accounts to benefit from a bonus more than once. Such players usually get caught at withdrawal stage.

Some casinos might have systems in place to match your data against their database, such as your name, surname, address, IP address, etc. These systems can do a phenomenal job at identifying duplicate accounts.

Such activity is also associated with problem gambling, and regulators will really shout at casinos who did not have the basic systems in place to identify multiple account activity, since it could be a backdoor for self excluded problem gamblers.

I don't think this is the reason why casinos adjusted their bonus terms so it's unfair of you for blaming these kinda players, thou I do not approve their actions but there are a lot players who made multiple account by accident, there are plenty factors how this happened, casino changed their name for example, only one account per casino group etc. I think the main reason why casinos adjusted their bonus terms because of the games potentials, RTP and in some cases some players managed to find a flaw in a game which brings the house in disadvantage. Casinos are still working on finding those flaws, finding more ways to give them more edge to win, fairly. To beat the house, you need to be smarter than them, what I mean by this, quit playing when winning or when you exceeded your limit, avoid large deposit bonuses, avoid slot tournaments because in the end there are only few winners and hundreds losers or even thousands. Anyhow, I just want to make clear that they changed their terms not for the reason you think of and they will keep changing them in the future. It's just like the goverment, new laws will be added from time to time and there's nothing you can do about it.

  • when i 1st started playing online casinos i wd sign up at every casino that was offering free nd bonus or spins. i had multple accounts at heaps of casinos and wasnt concerned when i got blocked because there were so many more casinos to play at.

i didnt bother reading the t&cs coz i wasnt depositing at any of these casinos.

i stopped creating multiple accounts only after one casino decided to close my account a few days after i had made my deposit. they allowed me to reopen my account pointing out to me that withdraws will be made void if i had multiple accounts which stopped me doin it for good

for quite some time i had to contact support at every casino i intended to deposit at just to ask if i had any multiple accounts there and if so (90% of the time) to let me keep one account and close all the others.

  • No never what's the point of creating multiple account if you know very well you will get banned from playing on the site according to the rules....?

  • I have to raise my hand. In the beginning my casino career I was trying to open duplicate accounts because of free spin offers. What a stupid thing to do! Do not do that! You will get in trouble if you win and want to withdraw... Can be harmful to your wallet.

    Сompletely agree

  • wow some of these stories are crazy. I would hate to have a winning sesssion, and they void it. the funny thing is casinos will take your deposits, but cashing out we have to go through a days on investigation.

i sent in my utilty bill, i sent my id , i sent my card showing front and back. lol house always wins huh.

but this thread had me reading, interesting

  • I think a lot of times it happens by accident.   I know I look for new casinos here.   Let's face it,  if you have been playing for years there is a good chance you don't remember if you had an account at this one or that one.   If there is ever any doubt,  I ask chat.  They are usually very polite about it and it's better than a possible ban.

  • When I first started playing and won my first cash from a no deposit bonus the idea for duplicate accounts started ringing in my head simply because there were no more freebies to play and I didn't have the cash to make any serious deposits. I just want to point out that what I am writing here is no way encouragement for creating duplicate accounts at a casino and bonus whoring the hell out of them.

What I basically did was talk to some friend of mine and play on his name with his consent. I used a different IP every time since I could change the IP by a simply phone call to my internet provider. I also formatted the laptop I played on and replaced the Wifi card on it since I was in the laptop repair business at that time. Free to say that wifi cards were just in every corner of my shop lol. Long story short I never got caught and made some decent profit for some time.

Now what's the moral of the story. I played mostly for the no deposit bonuses but when I eventually did win from a freebie I would deposit the money back at some casino and play with the welcome bonus. For me that was evening the odds. Frankly after all these years I still don't get what the big deal is about the welcome bonus. I have very few or no deposit bonuses today at my regular casinos and sometimes it really pisses me off. You can play with thousands in a casino and lose it all, but sometimes you can play with a 20 deposit and win thousands.

Nowadays I simply don't care about duplicate accounts since I play for cash only and at a few casinos. Guess I became a serious gambler xD

  • years ago before i understood the rules i would be lazy about my login details and thought it wuld be simpilar to make a new one than do  the whole password recovery thing. or i forgot i had an account there..and then some were my wife doing the same thing yea i lost out on a win, but it was on a no deposit bonus, that took me 4 hours to make the play through requirements....now i know better and try to sort it out with the online sevice people.

  • I did it several times, but not on purpose. I used to play online casino years ago, and then I stopped playing for 5 or 6 years. Since I am playing again, I created new account in some casinos I forgot and in which I already opened an account before.

Well you got caught creating multiple accounts on AG :-)

  • I think that those people who create multiple account anywhere not only in casinos but in general, they have some kind of addiction because they cross a fine line between customer benefits and company damage

Ag I dont think people have a problem. Sometimes its for fun. I mean look at the Top Gun Casinos who offer big NDB's. I mean just to have some fun is always nice, however you feel the pain if you cannot withdraw after wager. Because of the multiple accounts.

  • Of course, and obviously all of us that have pretty much do it for the same general reason.

Sites are ahead of the curve as far as preventing multiple acts these days.

They pretty much all use software that alerts any acct using an already registered phone number, email address, card number, pretty much any personal detail there is.

  • The crazy thing is people make mistakes in the sign up process that cannot be fixed and would require a new account to be made. These people are then stuck in limbo without access to their already created account and cannot make another as it will be flagged as duplicate.

On the opposite to the main story they are all honest mistakes and they are still not able to get their account; so as we can see they are pretty strict on that matter...

  • I think I can agree with those who said they've done it in the early days. I have done it a few times, mostly because of a good bonus I wanted to take twice. However I once many years ago was caught due to the IP address and my win was confiscated, so the tough lesson was learned. Don't see the point of ever doing it, there's absolutely no benefit in it.

  • I actually did it recently. My old email had 1 differant number than my new one. I figured it out right after I deposited on new acct. I got a hold of the rep on here and they took care of it for me. I just ecplained and he deleted my old acct. I was worried I would be out the money but was pleasantly surprised. Didn't win though..
