Of course I have to share a picture of my awesome black kitty, named Kitty...I rescued her from the pound when she was a kitten...and she's my baby!

If you have one black and one white cat, name them Ebony and Ivory

Thanks Markotik...she is my 3rd all black one.. they do have certain quailities that  I love...Ive loved all the cats Ive had but Ive taking a special liking to the all black ones.

Me and Garfield a month before he was hit and died from his injuries He was only 5 months old but stole our hearts by playing football and fetch. You couldn't make a bed without him ambushing you. If you got up in the middle of the night he would stalk you in the dark that is when he wasn't clawing you for waking him up. He always slept between my wife and I. It has been a year now but I still miss him. I do have another cat. Scrappy is 8 years old and is so chilled out. Sleeps with us eats and sleeps some more. My wife had 19 cats at one point but I had to draw the line as the bed was getting too full and I was NOT giving up MY side lol

I am so sorry to hear about your cat. my wife is still a crazy cat lady and I do understand the suffering that I have to endure trying to sleep with 8 cats all bundled around our bed hahahaha but they've all been surprisingly chill and they know I am not as crazy about them as my wife does.

So sad to hear about Garfield. I wanted to adopt a kitten a couple of months ago, but then she was hit by a car.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss . Thank you for sharing such a heart warming story about Garfield  . @Markotick, it would have been a real adventure if you could have adopted a cuddley furball .  I hope u do get a chance to find another pal  :'X.

Garfield his brother and both parents were dumped right outside my house and I found them sneaking in and eating the cat food I had out. I managed to catch the kittens but the parents were too scared so I just kept putting food out for them. Kovu is Garfields brother. He was rehomed and is thriving. I am not anti cat just anti too many lol Garfield showed unconditional love even after what he went through and I know that is what cats are like. I was sad to read about the cat that was going to be adopted but please find another as there are so many poor cats worldwide that need someone to love them and a home they can feel safe in
Do not tell my wife but I really do like most animals but if she knew we would have a zoo lol

Sad news, corin69,  I'm sorry to hear that, really pets become part of the family and when they leave this world, it is sad! ...an image to try to cheer up a little.
