  • So are online casinos honest? Well sadly the answer is no. There are multiple ways to make lots of money in life. You can become a doctor and save lives, you can work on finding a cure for cancer OR you can sell drugs, weapons, operate a casino. Where i'm going there? Well i'm saying that operating a casino is not the most glorious way of making money therefor expecting people iin there to all be nice angels is sweet dreams.

Can i prove it? Well yes. I have been scammed and frauded so many times i stopped counting. Even the top brands are no exception. Leovegas: i had a slot malfunction and my win removed. After "investigation" the casino claimed the provider had found no malfunction so i wouldn't anything from them and decision was final. Well i had recorded my play so i posted it on youtube and i was compensated and casino admitted the malfunction within a day. Superlenny: I had a malfunction on a slot too, they refused to pay and even sent me a excel drawing of what i supposedly hit that obviously wasn't right... same deal as leovegas. Rizk: they disconnected me at the exact miraculous time where i did my biggest bet on live table and had bad cards on black jack and needed to hit (i had 7 and dealer had face card). Not only did i get disconnected and lost but they also took my bet two times in my account. They said there was no malfunction, that I, myself, lost connection and the even went as far as pretending i bet 25$ and not 50$ to avoid paying the whole sum if proved wrong. They said decision was final, but i sent them screen shot of my betting history and since then they never talked or replied to me anymore LOL. Some of them complains are here on the complaints section.

Can i protect myself? Well the answer is yes. First of all, record your play. There are tools like OBS that can be used for free to stream and/or record your action. I never had a single casino admit a malfunction and refund me, they all lied and tried to get away with it so don't expect them to help you out. Also don't be shy and use forums like lcb complaints section as casinos might make sure to be as far as possible and out of reach of law but they really don't like bad publicity so sometimes just having it posted on a forum for all to be seen can be enough to get your case solved. Finally, try and play on the same few casinos. They are in the business to make money and if you lose or play a lot on the same casino they will value you as a player and will be very less likely to try and scam you as they don't want to lose your business. Don't do like me, i played all casinos online so even if i would play everyday, i only have a few deposits on each of them so everytime i would hit big or have a "malfunction" i would be seen as a worthless casual low roller therefor the perfect candidate for a scam. That's probably why i got scammed and frauded so often in so many places hehe.

In conclusion, if a malfunction or anything else happens to you. If you lose connection to the casino at the exact time where it end up in you losing and you find it suspicious, don't go right away in forums calling scam all over. Give the runner a chance and ask the casino as even tho many if not most are dishonest it doesn't mean they are all without exception. I never had any help myself or admit anything yet but that doesn't mean there aren't any that would have been right so at least do the things right and ask them first. If they reply to you there is nothing wrong, no malfunction or it's your fault then remember my post here and ask for help. If you used my tips and have records, screen shots and such, send them to the casino and you probably won't even need lcb's help. If after these steps they still deny, file up a complaint here on lcb, they are very helpful :) .

  • Also, even the top casino in the world (i dealt with it sadly) can use tactics to try and make you lose. Even tho it's not illegal stalling payment, declining your documents or even asking excessive verifications is a way for them to try and make you reverse and lose. If you are trying to cash out and a casino decline your documents, ask for more and more or simply refuse to accept any of them you can always ask lcb's help. Casinos don't require x-ray of your bones to verify you. They just need a proof you are you and that doesn't require much so when they ask you HD 4K high definition picture of you with your card along with 10,000 other things then you can assume they are trying to make it hard for you to cash out hoping you reverse. They will claim it's the protocol, that their license require that but even tho it's true, they amplify the truth to their own advantage on purpose. Nowadays when i get to deal with abusive verification i just lock myself out of the casino that way i can't reverse. But again if you have issues, a little 2 minute to post on lcb complaint section can save you a lot of trouble and if you play on the same few casinos as i recommend above then once you are verified you don't have to do it again. Well usually as videoslots verify and unverify me asking more pointless documents for whatever reason lol.

  • Of course, it depends on a casino. But it is also important to understand - casino is a commercial institute, first of all, it is a business and each kind of business is aimed to make profits to owners.

There is a sort of code of consuct for casinos, that includes 10 rules:

    1. Casino must be licensed and regulated.

    2. All casino games must be audited monthly by a 3rd party.

    3. Must have “a seal of approval” from at least one government sanctioned organization.

    4. Must offer secure and safe transactions for all deposits and withdrawals.

    5. All players information will stay private and will never be sold or misused.

    6. 24/7 support is required.

    7. The casino must abide by the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSIONS CAN-Spam Act even if regulated from outside of the US.

    8. All withdrawals are to be paid in full with-in 5 days.

    9. If a player decides to lodge a complaint about a casino listed than OCBB will have complete and final decision power.

    10. Commit to Social Responsibly as defined at ISO standart

You can read more on casino business' illegibility:

    1) ISO-26000 - Social responsibility (https://www.iso.org/iso-26000-social-responsibility.html)

    2) Legal instant pay casinos in the US

  • most are I believe, but then again theres plenty of shady ones... just check LCBs blacklist, right. "Jurisdictions" like Curacao or Costa Rica also offer little to none assistance for players so casinos can get away with shady and border line shady acts.

but then also dont forget players play a big part here, and theres tons of abusers and fraudsters making it hard for the average Joe. Not to mention how many times we have seen false or ungrounded complaint or simply players not doing their research or reading through terms and conditions.

I say , we as the players, are responsible for our own actions. if most players bothered to do their research before signing up at a first casino they see with decent bonus offer etc, then we wouldnt see as much complaints and also such shady(ish) casinos would quickly go out of business.

  • I have to say through the many complaints/PAB i had (can't believe how unlucky i ran with casinos like i was targeted lol) the biggest problem was that there are so many people that have no clue, don't read terms or simply try to scam or fight to grab some extra dollars to gamble that when someone like me come up with real things and proof most of the time i was instantly put in one of the category above. But after some time it helped that all my complaints and PAB were proven real and founded so the person in charge like here on lcb knew i was not the kind to do things like that and if i was complaining there was something. I remember my issue with rizk where they were implying i am trying to scam for 100$ lol, i'm down 10k in past 6 months betting 20-40p... had days where i would lose 500 up to 1k and run so insanely bad it made no sense and i was not in here complaining. I'd say from all the things that happened to me that was bad, fraudulent or else probably 1-2% ended up in complaint. Rest of the time i would just self-exclude from the casino and never return. But sometimes the issue is so big, it has to be brought up to public. That's mostly why i do many of my complaints. Like rizk, i did so people at least open their eyes to what is possible and this post here gives tips and explain why i give these tips so that people can play "safely" with a protection. In the end rizk refunded me the 100$ in my account... account they never verified or even looked at documents, they were not going to pay or i would've had to fight real bad so i just went to slots.. bet 40p... lost in 5 minutes (didn't expect anything else) and said to lcb to end it there, im not going back. So in the end i didnt gain nothing and didnt recover my money but i brought up the case to the public and that's what i wanted.

  • And to the other person that posted. These rules you stated ar "on paper". The gambling industry manage a lot of money and the third parties and persons in charge of regulating often don't earn all that much or at least way less than they should to be 100% safe. I don't have proof and i am not going all in accusations, but i personally suspect corruption because if not then there is a serious lack of competence and skills in that area. If companies like volkswagen, apple and others that are supposedly normal companies can fraud and scam all over i don't expect casinos to be any better. The list you posted is what should be in a perfect world but the truth is another story. But at this point it's only my point of view and i am not going in a full debate about it since i can't prove anything and it's just observatiosn and deductions. I don't force anyone to take my point for themselves, i just try to warn people just to be careful and aware of the risks of online gambling. As i always say, spend money you can afford to lose, money you would otherwise use for restaurant or movies but not more than that unless you really can afford and don't really care. I have a friend that watched streamers online and believed the slots would run for him like them and took loans for 20k to play 20$ bets. It lasted a night. I wouldn't like to be in his shoes but i wouldn't have done that either with what i know now hehe. But many people sadly are "naive" and/or believers that really want to believe casinos are charity foundations there to distribute money and if nobody tell them anything they will just fly blindly in the casinos and lose everything they got and then think "why nobody said anything?".

  • And one last thing. Many of the things i accuse the casinos of they could probably get away with if they were simply honest about it but it would hurt their image and traffic so they won't. Like some providers giving out rtp's that are at best a super optimistic view and far from reality especially the ultra high variance slots that you have 1 chance on millions to ever hit the biggies so for 99% of the players the rtp they will get will be much much lower like my mystic mirror runs that over all casinos i have 20% rtp hehe. Or others like bgaming that say it's 97% but i did millions of spins on them because i do love them even though i just can't believe they have 97%, it's not possible whatsoever and even the provider removed the rtp from their site so. I love their games for what they do and how they play when they are hot but very often they will rip you like jammin jars even tho they almost never pay anything 200x+. I lost so much money playing them, much much much more than what i shouldve lost have i ran 97%. Many people see 92% 96% and think it's just about the same while in fact you will lose 2 times more money in the long term on 92% since the casino margin is 8% compared to 4%. If a slot run 88% and the casino/provider advertise 96% then the player will lose 3x more on avg than what he is told and to me it's more than dishonest. Bgaming slots brag top wins 3000x+ but in millions of spins i never had anything more than 700x ONCE and it was on 9p obviously hehe. While a slot like jammin jars my friends all have their huge it on and they are all over youtube and such so we know it exists... i tried to find anyone that hit top payouts on bgaming never to be found. I even email the provider asking if they have any numbers/stats/proof of people hitting them simply because 1- i wanted to know is it possible 2- what are the real odds of hitting that? Over time i made up my mind that top payouts are like big progressive jackpots and i will be more than crazy lucky if over my entire gambler life i ever get one of them hehe. But still like the games, would just like to know what is the REAL rtp players are having to at least be able to calculate what i should expect to spend/lose playing them the way i do. If i go in thinking my play style and bets and amount wager is going to cost me on average say 100$ per week and i constantly losing 300-400$ then im having a real issue. Imo providers and casinos could put whatever the rtp they like on their slots as long as they provide to players the exact real rtp so that at least they can decide if they want in or not. Like if i play a slot that run 70% (theoretical) but is advertised as 96% i will definitly yell at casinos while if they would just put "70% RTP" then if i play it and lose my shirt  i would only have myself to blame.
