  • im not Insomniac even i can sleep 8h a day like a baby.. but i cant fix my bedtime its always dawn i feel sleepy

  • When it's time to get up I suddenly become 'somniac' and can't wake up for hours. Life can be strange sometimes :D 

  • I have always been like this, sleeping during the day.. waiting for the night to come. I want to fix my regime, cause you don't see any sunlight, which is bad for the pineal gland.

  • Hi, i am insomniac too, now its not so bad with me, but i has really problems with sleep when i was younger. Few years ago i have some strange meeting with U.F.O and i was so scared, i cant sleep 1month! was really weird, my body was totaly tired, but at brain i cant sleep. Just some minutes microsleeping per day... Now i sleep good, when i cant sleep, drink some beers and its ok :)

  • maybe drinking a few beers before going to sleep might actually help it always works for me when i cant sleep it never fails.

  • Personally for me, insomnia ended when I started to turn off the phone and the computer for the night. A bright screen of gadgets prevents the brain from passing into a calm state and falling asleep.

  • How do you sleep past 2 am. Still not able to for years no matter what time i go to bed.

  • i had trouble sleeping and falling back to sleep and finally i got a sleep acnea test and found thats what i got , and now with a machine and some meds i sleep like a baby.

  • i use to not sleep good at night until i found out i have sleep acnea. i first started taking trazadone. it really helps a lot that my husbands doctor put him on it. then they gave me a sleep acnea test and im using a zpac now and sleep like a baby.

  • Couple of times in month, too, not can fall asleep. Yes, alcohol is the most harmless drug, it helps.

  • summer is coming and theres more and more daylight. im a sensitive person to lighting conditions and these lenghtening days are murder to my sleep. wish i had thicker curtains? maybe it is time to invest, for sleep is important you know dizzy

  • I had some years ago time when I just couldn't sleep. One or two hours a night. The rest of the night I just layed (is this a bad word, but you know what I mean. Lolled.) I had a huge stress because of my job and at night it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest! I just couldn't calm down in order to sleep, until i was so tired that I slept for couple of hours. Finally I got over this but it took several months. 

    But I feel for you all who are suffering about this.

  • Have you ever considered using medical marijuana?

  • Yeah I've been in that situation too, not being able to fall a sleep.

    In the worst period I've been sleeping just couple of hours total in about 3 nights so I was seriously worried and very nervous generally.

    Luckily that's been just a period but it'susually tough for me falling a sleep, but a few drinks always help.

  • you should take insomnia really seriusly becouse it can lead to other serious problems

  • I have no insomnia I hope). But I like nights, I like silence when nothing distracts from the gambling for example. And at night I am much more productive at work. Probably it is not very correct from the point of view of health, but I have already got used to this way of life.

  • i like the night better than the day. when being employed i always worked nights..getting stuck in that habit is very annoying when trying to be a responsible productive member of society.
