Games: Real and practice mode?

Just wondering as why a practice mode is no longer available for some Games? They can only be played on Real Money mode... I'd like to hear anything on this??? . Thanks 

Ibtk18, reasons could be many. If you could tell us which games, than I could probably could tell you a likely reasons.

Most common would be country restrictions. Some providers require casinos to restrict any gameplay from restricted countries, and than casinos stop allowing anonymous demo play (you have to be logged in to play the game, and the only way you can log in is to have an account which again you can only have if you come from countries that allowed to register). Some casinos simply shut down the demo mode.

Another reason, and this one in particular mostly involves those major providers with strong land based presence such as Scientific Game, Novomatic, EGT and similar, that in recent years launched social casinos, fun play casinos and similar products. These give you certain number of fun play credits, and than charge you a smaller summ of real money to refill those. Its basically a way to charge you something for practice play :) If this is the case than, obviously, you will not be able to play at the casinos completely free of charge. One example of this, if you remeber was WMS couple of years ago, High5 games also, Novomatic had similar scheme etc.

Than it might happen that a particular casino feels you should not try before you buy. A foolish thing from my standpoint, but it could happen

thanks for the above. There are many games no longer available on practice mode, to be more specific Slots like:  Ancient Giants OR Wolf Treasure from Software provider: IGT, can only be played for real money the practice mode is no longer available. This is a very recent change.. why could this be? I'd like you know :)

Two games you mentioned are IGTech, which is not be confused with IGT as they are not related. In fact, if I remember well, they are related to Pragmatic Play, and Wolf Treasure is basically the same game as Wolf Gold if Im not mistaken. I would say, probably some licensing/coutry restrictions are a reason behind the change.

One reason that it might be is because 3 times in the last 2 weeks I've played games for a significant amount of time then to discover my game had been practice mode . This was extremely unsavoury, not just because I was winning, but because they swore they don't have a practice mode for those games . And offered nothing in explanation or remedy to fix the problem. Happened all three times after I had deposited real. Money expecting real outcomes. Trust me, I wonder your question out loud as well, but am far more weary of practice modes as I wouldn't play these games in a million years unless I was getting paid for it, with real money. I'm much too good looking to waste my time with my nose buried in my phone.
