The beauty of random is what brings the thrills and why we are not doing the 'first three', most obscure id, or best rhyme grabs the prize.

Btw. I happen to follow similar procedure as suggested, i.e. random picking up from a close range of numbers where your position is based on order of your guess each day.

And no to PM's! We wanted this to be a live and vivid thread which, I hope, we succeeded in doing, right, blue?

As stated in the original post pasty, the picking of winners is random.  If you haven't won yet, it is because you haven't been randomly picked yet.  If someone is picked a couple of times, lucky them.  This is a free contest and you have as much chance as everyone of winning.  You can always choose not to take part if you are not happy with the way it is being run.
