Thanks for the holiday wishes and back to ya.  I also wanted to comment on all your scientific terminology. Lol, I was in stitches reading. I don't know you or anyone else that ended up in the mix  of whatever the actual problem was but I don't believe any of you mean or meant any harm to each other whatsoever. And I'm saying not really knowing much of the detail. I'm just throwing it out there cuz no scientific prediction made here just a gut feeling. Im in no involving myself w the issue just had to laugh at ur comment, especially the flux capacitor after watching Back to the future 80 million times with my kids. I hope you all do well this week on your guesses. I was second in last week's and as for this one I think I went too high....Oh well have fun with it everyone cuz next week it's all over.

I am a bit curious why Drjugs got hit with the deadline recall but no one who guessed after the time limit this week got hit with it. I know my trip home would of been a bit safer with out thinking a HAD to make it back in time to guess haha. 
Life happens to us all and its crappy when things outside our control  keep us from getting in on something we love and enjoy. However i think we have all missed a week or two from the deadline being the deadline.

With another Wednesday being over, it means that we have another batch of winners in this next-to-last round of our Bitcoin value predicting contest. Small recap first --

During the whole last calendar week, ranging Monday DEC 11 through the end of Sunday, DEC 17 (23:59 EST), you had to estimate a FUTURE value of Bitcoin on this past Wednesday's midnight, i.e. 23:59 EST, DEC 20.

Checking Coinbase hourly charts, I'm getting $16,976.01 as the number that you've all been chasing.

Comparing it to last Wednesday's figure of $16,800.01 one would say meh, we had a boring week with just +1% increase in Bitcoin value. Again, and as usual, nothing could be further from the truth. Bitcoin first surged sky-rocketed only some 2-3 days ago, but the $20k mark turned into too strong psychological resistance point, sending its value down by not exactly measly -28%.

The CUT-OFF TIME for your guestimates is this Sunday midnight EST (23:59), DECEMBER 24 -- just before Santa hits your chimney -- after which no further entries will be accepted for this round, nor for this contest as a whole.

Lastly, as I'm taking few days off over the holidays, the winners of this LAST contest round would be officially announced on Jan 3, 2018.

@ JACK.. Hope you are enjoying your time off.  I was all happy  about the 5 extra prizes and on Christmas Eve , it just went right over my head. I believe I was in lala land becuz when family were all together, my youngest daughter and fiancee gave us the best gift  ever. Alright, so it looks like the very LAST round of our EXCLUSIVE LCB BITCOIN VALUE PREDICTING CONTEST has slowly came to an end, so let me throw in a quick recap of what the last round was supposed to be all about:

During the calendar week, ranging Monday DEC 18 through the end of Sunday, DEC 24 (23:59 EST), you had to estimate a FUTURE value of Bitcoin on the Wednesday's midnight, i.e. 23:59 EST, of DEC 27.

While only checking the Coinbase charts page today, it only shows this old Bitcoin price on a weekly chart (having the price rounded for each 30-min segment), so the actual price may have differred slightly from what you see below (e.g. when looking at the minute-chart). At any rate, here is the number I got: $14,470.01.

Surprisingly, this marks -17% drop compared to previous Wednesday's figure of $16,976.01, meaning that you'd be getting some $2,500 less than a week before for 1 Bitcoin. Good example that nothing keeps rising forever --

At any rate, I promised to bring in 5 extra prizes for this FINAL round, making it 10 in total, while we seem to have, uhm, let me check, yes! No less than 10 participants, who made it in time. Which means, which means --
