I've been trying out lots of new casinos lately and I realized there are quite a few pet peeves that really bug me. 

Now, I'm not talking about major issues like delayed payments or predatory terms, but rather small things that are super annoying. 

One such pet peeve of mine has to do with verification documents - I like to upload mine after signing in to get verified right away. So that when I request a withdrawal, I don't have to wait for my docs to get approved first in order to get paid. But, some casinos will review my documents only in the event of withdrawal, and not before. Ugh!

Getting into the subject with the subject one of the things that annoys me is when the casinos offer promotions and give you free spins but it seems to me that it is not equitable here my explanation is supposed that if you are depositing an amount the free spins should be equitable and these They should be proportional to the deposit. Most of the time, these are in the "laziest" games that provide very small winnings. This really is playing with only the deposit. Another thing that bothers me is that many casinos have already turned into casino sites. tournaments where they no longer offer bonuses or anything only competitions and this opens a disadvantage between players who have a lot of money vs players who have little. This is unfortunate because they do not think of small players and that we want to play and win.
Another situation that bothers me that casinos forget about old players and no longer offer us anything, they just like to monopolize new players and that many times they lose their money I like these types of posts because we can freely write situations that happen congratulations and greetings !

Agreed mapluche, especially with regards to casinos leaving old loyal players out in the cold. The cold shoulder is infuriating!

One of my many pet peeves when it comes to online casinos is when a casino gives out no-deposit free spins, but the winnings can only be wagered on one specific game or a limited number of games (like 5 games only) or only games of a certain provider. This really annoys me. Now I can understand that casinos have games that are restricted when playing with a bonus, but this is something different when they I guess are trying to promote a certain game or provider and allow wagering only on this one slot / provider. I can remember at least EnergyCasino used to do this, and free spins winnings could in certain campaigns only be wagered on Starburst, lol. 

Hello everyone, one thing that irritates me, is when an honest casino or group of casinos leaves you out in the cold after a certain amount of (years) of being a loyal player. The great bonuses and comps get to be less and less. Maybe they just simply want all your money time and again and over and again. They say "just keep depositing and the promos and comps will return back to normal. But they never do.

Not starting a debate (for sake of arguing, at least), just curious what exactly you feel you are missing out on?

Something specific, really, would help people understand what you think is missing. In places i've played, not that i've done a lot of *casino* gambling, but they're always offering "top-up" deposit bonuses, match bonuses with reasonable or low rollover requirements, player points which you can convert into cash or tickets/entries, and/or sometimes free tickets, spins, cash, etc at random.

Now you might say "i don't need to deposit" and i would reply it's not about "needing" to, it's about these perks that are offered and could be taken advantage of.

Like i said, just curious as to specifics.

People don't go to the grocery store and take the $5 off cart total coupon, which everyone received in the mail, and then complain that since they only buy the most expensive brands in the store and therefore spend more money than everyone else that they deserve a $50 coupon instead.

Another pet peeve of mine is when you have only a couple of cents or say 1 cent left in your account but there is no game or slot that you can spend it on. Some casinos have no games where you can select just 1 betline in a slot. This is annoying especially if it is bonus funds and there is no button to manually cancel the bonus. You will have to contact the customer support to have it canceled. Infuriating 

I was made aware of the rule that casinos can change their terms and condition whenever they want. A casino can change jurisdiction, wager requirements, restricted game, max bet, wager duration and if bonus is available with e wallet or not. In these situations you might not be aware if you have broken a T&c of a casino. I have a habit that before signing up to a casino I go to live chat and confirm with them while taking a bonus if my country is allowed to claim bonus, the wager requirements, restricted games and other queries. The annoying thing is sometimes you end up meeting Live chat agents who instead of giving me an answer give me links to the bonus T&c. This way I cannot have a chat transcript where the casino has themselves given me their T&c and hence if rules change I cant do anything. I have to say thank you, close chat and start all over again. (note:A few months back cobra casino restricted skrill/ neteller for claiming deposit bonus. Oshi casino increased wager from 40x bonus to 45x bonus. Greenspin reduced wager duration from 7days to 1day. None of them sent any emails)

im not sure if this will count for a pet peeve but what bugs me the most at land based casinos needs to be addressed in the worst way.. All the casino that are indian based fedral casino tribal that allow gaming machinse or slot machines are becoming minium bet mostly 40 + once a guest gets below the minium bet and moves on or simply leaves the casino they are leaving whats left in the machine behind my question is who are they leaving there spare change for the next guest that plays there or a tip for the casino itself? The casino decided along time ago that it was by all right left for them and those who think otherwise get barred for taking the change and not handing it over to the house..  If you think about it the money did belong to the guest so it is only fair to ask the guest where they expected it to go?  I have tried to research how to get this vote out there and maybe this website might help me with this long aggrevating pet  peeve.... jill alien

     The one that takes the cake for me and really ruffles my tail feathers has to do with what I believe is the casinos intentional tactics to jolt your game like say your spinning away and your on a bit of a winning streak...u can't loose if u try atm so u may even up your bet a few when all of a sudden a pop up shoots on the screen with some kind of error messages telling you you need to close n restart the game ‍♀️. So u have no choice but to reset it only to return to the same game but now your streak has come to a screeching halt. I swear by the amount of times this has happened that it's no accidental error ‍♀️! 

My Major Casino Pet Peeve

I've been active in casino activities, land and online for decades. I enjoy the play, whether win or loose. But over the last couple of years, I have develop pet peeves, that caused me to loose interest. One by one, and slowly. 

My major and first pet peeve, is that I have lost trust in playing at the 4-5 star casinos. A pet peeve that has taken enjoyment and gaming entertainment from my gaming world.

When I was introduced the online gaming, it was great to be able to stay home and play, and sometimes win. But winning was not important at first. Then, I began to win many times. Cashing out was so easy, and over $100. Being in USA, it was not an issue. However, the casinos that I played, won and cashed out, only let me win once. These casinos led me to believe that they were loyal to me as I was loyal to them. The verbage of communication won my trust more and more. Then I began constantly going back to the same ones, depositing and loosing what I previously won. It became obvious that the games I would play, had changed there modes for a win. The emails of free spins and bonuses kept coming. It took me about 4 years and 4 casinos to figure this out. After playing again and reaching the amounts that I previously withdrew, the emails stopped, promotions weren't available to me, nor was customer service. And if I miraculously won, I was not able to withdraw for reasons discovered delibertly after the casino searched for unfair reasons. 

There were times my luck was favorable, thanks to LCB for helping with mediation for fairness. It is very hard for me to gain my interest back with depositing, unless I feel honesty in the reviews. Or really, just have my mind set on having fun, and money to waste. That is if I loose.

Shoot, this is one hell of a topic! I'd give you a story because I have more than one pet peeve when it comes to online casinos. With Sylvanas' example of verifying your account before a withdrawal or such for the sake of just KYC (Know your customer) is something that alerts my attention to a mind full of questions.

How do I know this casino is good for me?

Is it safe and legit?

Where is the gambling license?

What do other players think about this casino?

In terms of the casino.......I only dated you for a short while now your asking me to marry you!?

Those few are the questions that do stay on my mind because I'm skeptical about putting my documents on the line especially if I haven't crossed the finish line for that cashout.

Ultimately, the #1 pet peeve is.........NOT GETTING PAID FOR MY EFFORTS!!!!

I chose the casino to play with, read the reviews of other players, decided to deposit and take a match bonus (with or without free spins), fullfilled the requirements of say 35x, made a choice to withdraw. Finally, the pending period kicks in for 72hrs or less and then days later much waiting, excuses, stall tactics roll right in for my withdrawal. Sound familiar to you?

This next example happened to me when I was at Sports Interaction (SIA). I'm the guy that likes Live dealers especially if they involve a wheel and multipliers. Heck, live roulette or in this case Quantum roulette would do well. But this isn't about roulette.....it's about this wheel called Adventures Beyond Wonderland! I had $12.60 total across numbers 2, 5, 10 and the 3 bonuses magic dice, 2 Wonderspins and 5 Wonderspins.

Now I can't remember if the round gave 1 or 2 mystery segments in a row. Mystery gives out multipliers on all segments + a respin OR card soldiers that welcomes players with open arms for cashback up to 10x your bets. I had a Mystery/double mystery so the multipliers gave 8x on 2 Wonderspins which landed! An 8x bonus on 2 Wonderspins thinking I hit the big one but........the wheel registered it as a 2 instead of the bonus. I later disputed this bonus to live chat and after a couple of days they only returned my bets!? This happened April with Raivis and I was shocked and disgusted that they didn't pay the 8x multiplier on a bonus where the top prize could of potentially be 400x if it landed the white rabbit but....I'll never know.

Of course this happened too with Monopoly Live with the dealer Lolita when there was a 10x 4 rolls. They happen to just cancel it. That's Evolution for you.

How can they be so cruel!

At the bottom are screenshots showing that it gave a mystery and the flapper landing on 2 Wonderspins registering it as #2 along with players being outraged, including myself!

For me on of the things is when you verified documents and request withdraw they ask you again additional vierd documents and delayed payout.

Second when they send email promotion with bonus code and when you deposit you don't receive bonus and support don't help you, tell that i m not eligible, email sent by mistake , bonus ratio is high etc

Also some casinos have a lot providers but you can clean bonus only with few.

I don't like when casinos have a high waggering over 50x bonus.

I hate when i must always reed rules with small print because some casinos surprised me , example i deposit with Skrill and didn't get bonus because skrill and netteller not eligible for bonus etc

1. Slow and low quality chat support.

Prompt and quality customer service in  chat support is a game changer when you run into any issues. Gambling is an anxiety intensive activity and dealing with bad or slow customer service or worse, waiting for email support, is not conducive to a good time.

2. Resource heavy website theming

When a website deploys in the browser, if its theme has too many promo parallax graphics, pop up ads or is a CSS resource hog, it makes navigating through to games a very frustrating experience.

A clean simple theme that helps users to access their favourite games and game developers easily is a better sort of branding than all the hoopla involved in intrusive marketing or advertising.

Let the users determine their experience by employing minimalist, intuitive UI/UX design.

Another pet peeve, I hate it when a casino has a widget next to the game window that shows "Recent winners" or something like that that keeps updating and slowing the page down, especially if there is no button you can close it from. Annoying especially with an older device and on a heavy webpage. I don't want to look at other people's winnings while I am playing a game myself.

Another pet peeve for me (im sure im not alone here) is how I only win on bonuses that have a max cash out limit.

I had this happened to me a couple of times, but to be honest I never thought the casino is intentionally manipulating to throw a monkey wrench in when I'm on a roll? 

I am very annoyed when you play at night in the casino, you are not lucky, and there is little money in the account, which is not enough to continue the game. Plan to play a few hours, but because the balance is little money needed to put money in the account, spending a lot of time. At first they are so welcoming and nice 

Once you make your withdrawal , as if they filter your meassages , you wait for hours to chat, so you have to call.

They dont confirm your initial  withdrawal request by email , You wait for days for them to reject it and request verification docs , then for days to see if they approved them or not.

And if you dare complain about the time waiting and say you want or need your money fast to pressure them ( they say : oh maybe you have problem gambling we should perhaps sanction your accoun)t.

Then eventually you wait another week to eventually get confirmation if you harass them via phone.

When I was in a winning streak in Live dealer roulette on Betway casino, I was abruptly throw out of that table and got logged out.When I again logged in to the site then the table was not available for play  when I asked support,they said there must be some technical glitch and try after some time.This technical glitch continue for one hour and so was my lucky streak.

I play mostly on Lightning roulette of Evolution Gaming,when I win something particularly out of low bankroll these online casinos increase or double their minimum bet allowed. It reduces my bankroll very fast.It annoys me. 

My second pet peeve, when customer service instructs you on how to recover or update you account information, and then accuses you of registering duplicate accounts after you win and attempt to withdraw. I have won thousands of dollars on two occasions. And each time, I am congratulated and proceeded with all the steps to withdraw the winnings. And rudely, I was informed my account is closed and I can never play with that casino or the casino brand again. I was never given a solid explanation at times, and not allowed ta chance to explain my statement and/or submit my chat proof for consideration.

One of my pet peeves is that some casinos have slot games where the minimum bet is lower than that at other casinos. An example of this is Quickspin games where the minimum bet is 5c on spinion slot gameat one casino and 10c at another casino

Most casinos don't notify when wagering requirement of a bonus is complete and  bonus is converted into real money. If I know bonus money is converted into cash balance I would have requested for withdrawal instead I kept playing thinking that wagering requirement is not complete. 

My biggest pet perve right now at this very moment is waiting in queue to speak to live chat for ova 30 mins  only to find out that i have been diconnected when i refresh the screen.

at this very moment i have been waiting for over an hour now to speak to someone at universal slots casino. During this time i have bern disconnected 4x already.

I hope to coincide with some of you of these situations that bother me in some casinos for example in rizk casino, they do some times a year money or cell phones raffles you select a card daily to get a ticket for the raffles but here my annoyance: They never put who the winners are like in other casinos, they never put those who win the jackpots. I believe that these draws should be more transparent in their promotions because they never reveal their winners or the forms of their supposed draws.

I hate it when a casino automatically prompts you to deposit more when your balance is empty or close to zero. A pop-up message comes up saying "Your balance is low. Another pet peeve of mine is when im playing with bonus money and hitting all these super mega wins and so i decide to deposit at another casino and play the same game only to get not even a big win at all. N

• when the chat support tells you over and over again to delete your cookies and clear your cache. maybe try another browser - no matter what it is about

• when you go through the verification process & desperately try to take a selfie with your ID that meets all requirements - phone in one hand, ID in the other (& balancing a stack of plates on your head while hopping on one leg)

• when you are already verified for years and request a withdrawal and suddenly you have to upload a recent screenshot of your xyz wallet that you last used a year ago and that no longer exists

• when a screenshot of the back of your virtual credit card is requested

• when you can't change your email address without triggering the whole verification process again, which you just managed

• when you can't change your email address without completely re-registering and losing all loyalty points

• when you then grudgingly create a new account and receive an email asking why you registered twice

• when you deposit money and start the 2 hour super-cashback-boost, but the money is credited 3 hours later

• when you have a big win and just the thought of the payout makes you tremble - because you can never be sure if you´ll get it

• when the casino advertises a weekly freespin promotion for depositors, but after you have deposited & fulfilled all requirements, excludes you from the promotion as a bonus abuser (although you have not even managed a single withdrawal in all these years)

• when the slot Y of provider X is running incredibly well right now, but you are kicked out of the game every 10th spin

• when you close the slot and realize that the casino just logged you out in the background

• that moment when you discuss any of these topics with the chat support and they tell you to clear cookies & cache... (please start again at the top)

My 3rd Pet Peeve is, I remember about 3 years ago, it was so much easier in many areas for USA players. Now, I feel USA players are not being treated fair. We have been restricted from casinos, that we were once account holders. Depositing was lower, and now we have to deposit a minimum of $20-$30 minimum, even after being offered bonuses with $5 minimum at some casinos. Once logging in, and attempted to make a deposit amount that was listed, we are told USA players have to deposit more. Withdrawals were much easier, with more maximum and lower minimum. If we are able to make it through the final process, there is an unexpected problem. Sometimes it is never resolved. The problem is it has been happening with the higher rated casinos, and the low rated ones bait you in, then it is over after the first play.

Then our banking methods are now restricted, some accounts remain, but I can't use them, i.e., Skrill, UPayCard, Netteller, etc. Coinbase will not allow me to make transactions for gaming, if so, my account will be closed. However, I have noticed other USA players still depositing with Coinbase. 

So I find myself wasting time with judgement calls, and I still make the wrong decisions. I am confused and lost, and constantly trying to start over by searching for new casinos, which are few to none.

@2Late4Me, Coinbase tracks where your money goes, they track addresses, so best to switch to some other exchange. I don't know which ones are most used by US players, but I'm sure you can research or maybe start a topic here and ask other experienced members for advice. 

Thank you Sylvana. I initially used Coinbase a few times in 2016, then they stopped me with warnings to close my account. Then I started using UPaycard, and now they no longere accept USA Players. Then I opened Neteller and Skrill, and the casinos did not accept them even though I had an account. I accidently deposited a withdrawal of $100 winnings to Coinbase, and they took $30 of it, but did not say anything about it.

BIRTHDAYS DON'T MATTER  NO MORE

Another Pet Peeve, that  caused feelings of unimportant, left out, used up, forgotten, or it's time to move on, is no more Birthday Bonuses. 

It seems like the birthday bonuses fades away slowly each year. This year in 2021, no casino honored my birthday, even if I was sent the notification. The couple that did send them, i.e. SlotoCash, Mandarin Palace, and a few more, was not honored. I was told that I did not qualify, or the codes did not work.

I feel this should be figured out, before getting the players exciting, just to let them down. I searched throughout every casino that I had been affiliated with for years. And some of the casinos even told me they do not give birthday bonuses, and it was not true. There were birthday bonus postings in the promotion section. I was always asked for my Userid, before I was told the casino do not have birthday bonuses.

It is just getting harder and harder. I feel the casinos, should be honest and just close the accounts, so we do not have to feel rejected after years of playing. Especially on your birthday. Even if it just to play and no win.

I'm just really feeling lost and want to know what is next, and what casino to go to next.

Ok, so bare with me here for minute.... Its not like there's a long list to choose from,, I haven't learned how to convey sarcasm typing yet. 

 At first its obvious, these bonuses with 35x, 40x, 50x play through and wagering limits and some even have the nerve to limit your betting. We've lost our minds playing through $2k-5k only to be able to cash out $100,,

Or it could easly be the wonderful customer support.  Me trying sarcasm again.  You in chat they freaking ask, "how can we help you today" you can tell them exactly what you want, just don't hold your breathe for them to accommodate your request.. a couple examples that I know I have had to deal with.. I didn't receive my 1st deposit bonus, or I've deposited $500 this month and have not taken a bonus can I get a chip or some free spins,, I've been told NO, Ive been told I was wrong, My faviorte, I was told I didn't know what I was talking about...   If your trying make me feel a way about a mistake I made or a lack of appreciation for the money I'm spending. You do not have to worry about me cause all that money can be spent elsewhere.. 

 But no that isn't my biggest pet peeve when it comes to online casino...

What is my absolute biggest casino pet peeve?  drum roll.. 

The casinos don't have to wait for there money but you who is going to have to wait,, WE are going to wait for ours..  This is a predatory pratice used by the unscrupulous,  They are betting on yours and my weakness.  This is something that needs to change.  The land base casino is not going to make me wait days or weeks for my winnings.  Neither should the online casino.. 

My Bonus Casino Pet Peeve: WE DON"T GET ALL THE SUPER AWESOME GAMES the rest of the world gets here in USA

One major pet peeve that irritates me in some casinos is how when you've entered the free spins round in a slot game and the spins are not even finished yet but you can already see the final result updating in your balance! This is very annoying and takes away all the excitement!

I wanted to save this Pet Peeve for my last one, however, I need to vent and release. It may seem like all my Pet Peeves have the same subject, but actually the subject are running together and running me away. All my issues are actually connected to the same subject in one way or another. So it is hard to express them, without repeating some contents. So please excuse me. I don't mean to be boring.

So my Pet Peeve played with my emotions and got my attention to use my own BAN. 

The Pet Peeve is initally related to Freeroll Tournaments. No matter which casino I have tried to play in the Freeroll Tournaments, the rule remains all of a sudden. The rule of the last play was a Bonus or Free Chips, and a deposit is needed to play. Well I played everyday and night for about a year with Liberty Slots, Intertops, Lincoln Slots, and a few others in the daily tournaments. There was no rule. Until when I won over $3k, I had rules and my account was closed. Which were some of the best casinos, and have interesting games. 

Ever since I have tried to join a Freeroll tournaments, with the LCB links and others, I've never been successful. Either the link does not work, the link does not exist or invalid, I do not qualify, etc. Get this, I have even been told by the Chat Reps, the casino is not familiar with the code or platform site.

Well about 1 hour ago, I went to the tournaments forum to see if there were any new casino tournaments. LuckyTiger was new on the list. I received a very nice brochure in the mail with excellent bonus packages, and emails also. I did not take advantage of them, due to lack of timing. So I was excited to see them on the list, and just knew I was finally going to be able to play in a Freeroll. I registered my account about 6 months ago and played one time. 

So to make this long story short, I was immediately notified with the error message of when I make a deposit, I can redeem the bonus. It is really unfortunate.

How about casino support staff that do not know anything about the games or the industry in general.  Try asking a question about a game and the number one reply I get back is "I am unfamiliar with that slot machine because were not allowed to game here."  I would rather be told to piss off because at least I know that's a genuine response.  

Well here is my third comment about things that annoy me about some casinos and I think that some of you as small players will understand me, the bonus rounds that give you for a deposit the amount of the value of the free spins are much lower than what they ask for Of the deposits that are generally greater than $ 20, for example you deposit $ 20 they give you 50 spins but they are only 0.1 cents !! It is ridiculous and they are deceptive promotions. I admire those casinos that are more generous that give you a percentage of bonus plus free spins to compensate for this. As they would say, the house never loses good luck to everyone here at lcb!

Thank you for another interesting contest LCB, this is a fun concept. As per my pet peaves, I'd say it's these two:

1. Withdrawal fees for multiple withdrawals. For example Videoslots give you one free withdrawal a day, but if you want to withdraw twice, it'll cost you.

2. Lack of withdrawal methods. I've had this multiplie times that I use Skrill/ MasterCard or any other deposit method and then it's not available for withdeawal and all I'm left with is bank transfer. 

3. Casinos that send bonus codes that don't work. It can be annoying to receive a promotion to your email and then see it's expired even though it was just received.
