This concept is very good for votes . Unfortunately I believe that this will not win the best but only those who know more people here  and perhaps this is not right

however if LCB management was to decide on the winners then some might say we didnt choose fairly.

I think this kind of poll/voting is the most democratic way to get the winners, but like in any democracy it cant be 100% perfect.

Maybe for the next contest you may propose an alternative way to pick the winners. We are open to suggestions.

I think that when you decide to participate we trust those who organize, then you accept the selection of winners from the organizers. Now I'm not sure who will win is good but only those who ask for votes as a friend of the forum. This is not good.

Thats very unfortunate that some of you feel this way considering that LCB's entire thought process was to be as fair as possible and allow members to participate in the voting.

The intention of this contest was to have fun and offer cash prizes. What i think is not "good" is to have something so nice for our members and be classified as maybe not being a "trustworthy" organization.

This is not the first time we organize this kind of poll, and till now we had no objections. And IMO this is a good way to get the winners and at the same time make it interesting.
You are of course free to disagree , but you might want to participate next time.

We are offering a free money here as our appreciation to LCB members and ultimately reserve the right to decide on how to conduct the contest.

Not that we dont appreciate the feedback.

I apologize because maybe the translation is not good. I can not make myself understood. I love the forum and I love your work. I have not even participated in the contest. It was just my thought. I apologize if I offended. It was not my intention.

I was all excited, now afraid to look. I feel bad I voted for myself, but as much as I want to win something, I don't want to chase ambulances.  But maybe later today can I hold a pep rally in the chatroom? Or carry a sign?

Quit your whining.  If you don't win this one there will probably be another one soon.

Let's thank LCB for these FREE contests instead of whining about the voting and begging for votes.

LOL...I *tried* to vote for myself, after having a dream the night before that it was okay to vote for one's self (true story).  But it didn't work, so I voted for .....

I have no problems with the way the voting is set up, but a suggestion might be to give everyone like 3 votes, and they all have to be for different people.

Chilly- I kinda thought that too, but I'm trying to not think too much. Easier to deal with machine than man at times.

I had thought that since there is three winners in this contest to allow three votes. But seeing how the voting is going it seems clear that everyone is voting for themselves. Would they really vote for two others if given the choice? Not sure.

At the same time it's tough not to vote for yourself. I suppose if i was in the contest i would want to vote for me too. Unfortunately the software is not set up for the voter to be exempt to vote for themselves.

In the mean time lets cherish the fact we are allowed contests and embrace LCB Admin for the good heart to put up the cash for this.

I entertained the thought of voting for me, me, me!!! But, then I went back with a very open mind and read all of the posts again (including mine) and voted for.... well I won't tell... but it was not for myself since I still have 0 votes!  LOL
