We are proud to present series of weekly contests hosted by EnergyCasino. EVERY THURSDAY a new slot game will be posted in this thread. We want you to share your thoughts about the particular slot games. Tell us whether you like to play that slot game or not, whether you ever won anything when you were playing it, how do you like its design, bonus features etc. Each post will count as 1 ticket entry for the raffle draw. (Please note: One post per member allowed).

Rules:

2. Every Thursday a new slot game will be posted on LCB.

3. Only one post per member allowed. Each post will count as 1 ticket entry for the raffle draw.

5. In order to participate in this contest you have to make at least one minimum deposit at EnergyCasino. The minimum deposit required to participate is 10 EUR.

7. The contest will last for one week, until next Wednesday 23:59 CET.

8. The raffle draw will be held on Thursday next week. The winners will be announced in this thread and all prizes credited by 17:00 CET on Thursday next week.

9. The wagering requirement for the prizes is 25x and there is no maximum cashout limit.

10. Standard EnergyCasino welcome bonus terms apply.

11. There will be 5 winners and the prizes will be distributed as follows:

i very like Book of Ra and a lot of other Slots from Novoline. I played them a lot in the past. But things have changed very bad to all Players from Germany. Novoline and Merkur SLots are now restricted to germans which feels very bad. Because these was my favorite Providers :(

I might disliked Novomatic games  or they were not my "cup of tea" slots or maybe i dont like their design,  graphic or maybe that Book of Ra is an oldie game so maybe why i had that opinion of this game.But of course i changed my mind looking at its pay table and saw some great screenshots wins from this game.

But looking at paying table this game has potential of huge wins or i might say its high varience slot,because triggering 5 of those explorers the win is X 4500 which makes it great game.I have played Book of Ra many times but i have nothing to brag about it.Maybe i should play it more often,all in all i like this game but to be honest like more better designed and graphic slots.

The Book of Ra series (Standard, Deluxe etc.) by Novomatic, the iconic slot which I had heard about even before I started playing.

The original had 9-lines across 5 reels with scatter(s) symbols that acted as wilds, honestly nothing spectacular... till you hit the feature. The then-revolutionary feature had expanding symbols which finally made it possible (or so we think) for a full screen of symbols.

This innovation practically spearheaded a plethora of similar slots (Book of Dead, anyone?) with various themes but the mechanics were always kept the same - a testament to a proven formula that worked for both provider and player.

Even with dated graphics and a standard soundtrack, Book of Ra manages to catch my attention every single time which is a very impressive feat considering the many other options. One of my favourite slots with an exceptional level of replayability and most importantly, an insane win potential. You're guaranteed to have a great time on it... now can I please get my 5-explorer bonus rounds?

Book of Ra is very nice slot. I don't like Novomatic games at all, but this slot is really good. It has great feature and payouts. At the other hand, it's design and animation is obsolete so i prefer a clone by Play'n'Go - Book of Dead. It has exactly the same payouts and feature but also nice design.

I guess I can say Energy Casino is where all it started for me, since it was here I made my first ever deposit at, which then led me to my first few slots, one of which being the great Book of Ra. Being new to slots and not having much knowledge on the providers and their games, I chose games by clicking on any thumbnail that drew my attention (this is a bad example, please do not follow guys). In hindsight, I guess there was just something about the explorer that gave off an intriguing vibe.

Amazingly enough, it gave me one of my biggest wins within a few spins netting me $80 @ 72c spin value.  Still a blissful naive beginner then, I thought it was a fairly easy game with great returns, naturally not considering any prospect of losing. As we all know how these stories turn out, my balance was gobbled up even quicker than the time it took to get my win, leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth and a penchance for humility. 

Nevertheless, anyone who has not experienced playing Book of Ra owes it to themselves to at least have a session on it. Just take note that for low rollers, it's probably not a good idea to spin at such a high base value due to the insane variance that comes with it. Like most of the other Novomatic high-variance slots, one must take great care when attempting to conquer the impossible.

With Novomatic being one of the long-time giants in the industry and Book of Ra the holy grail among its offerings, it is no suprise the highly popular expanding symbols feature reeled players in and even produced many successful descendants, with the more popular ones being the likes of Book of Dead (Play 'n' Go) and Mongol Treasures (Endorphina). Well this is some good news indeed, definitely did not expect to be so lucky in the raffle. Thank you to both parties LCB & Energy for making this possible... looking forward to the next one!

As a fan of GnR, the game definitely appeals to me. Putting aside my perfectly unbiased opinion, it is my game of choice among the realm of rockstar-themed slots - quite the feat considering its competitors range from slots like KISS (WMS), Megadeth (Leander) & Jimi Hendrix (NetEnt).

The variance of this slot is in the low-medium range which is great for the casual player as it offers quite a few unique features in the bonus rounds and can even have random features appearing in the base game as well.

When it comes to presentation, this slot is a major heavyweight due to the well designed features and heart-pumping music weaved with iconic graphics of America’s most dangerous band. 

What can I say, this title is definitely among the few that stands out. Although I do wish there was more opportunity of getting screenshot-inspiring wins, NetEnt has definitely created a game worthy of its name. I guess the Swedes have done it again...

Design, animation and soundtrack is really awesome.

Features is also very good.
