  • Hi Sydney, can you please ask and confirm with evobet rep if the VPN issue in my account has been resolved as I dont want to be bombarded with the same issue after the final verification of my account and withdrawal. Thanks...also i will resend the proof (official doc from my mobile provider) as they work on skeletal workforce and cannot issue the document that fast. I dont want to sound too dramatic and personal but im also human and we have financial problems and there comes covid and sister got it so i need money for medications amd card expenses going on. With all the complaints here and there, i am abiding by every request  of evobet still not knowing how i can withdraw and when...its just too depressing when money is stuck when you need it the most especially when youre not doing well financially at the moment. Hopefully things go right and with your help i can withdraw my first 1k without problem next week. 

    Regarding prepaid sim registration in my name, it is in my mobile providers terms in the website as well as in the news that we are not required to register sim cards by name, only postpaid lines do. If in any case, the closest thing i can get is to apply for a postpaid line and convert my mobile number just so i can abide by casinos request (mobile provider said they only issue receipts with my name and number and no certificate).

    Sorry for the long post im just too overwhelmed with anxiety right now. I was expecting to have my money before new year as they verified me already only to be accused of VPN which is totally false. Fortunately i am able to secure the new requirements but still pending on the mobile.

  • Hi thanks I have managed to get my docs verified except for the mobile registration because they are asking for an official document from telecom provider. Evobet must understand that i have a prepaid account which does not generate monthly billing statements and most importantly no ownership paper as what they insist. Each country/company has their own terms and i cannot impose a document that the company simply does not issue for prepaid accounts. I asked the KYC team what I need and they said an ownership paper so I went ahead and went to my telecom store and they issued me an official receipt for the registered number and prepaid load credits. It clearly shows my name and number. I also sent them my prepaid sim card bearing my nunber put beside my ID to show I own this number and physically have it. Also i sent them an app screenshot of my mobile account showing my name and number. This is how Globe telecom does it. We use an app! Please see attached. This is what we get and nothing else. All transaction and calls history are not saved because we dont have a law that asks us to register. Now to comply with their wish of validating my number with an official statement bill now I have to wait for a postpaid line and get approved but will need extra time and this will significantly delay verification even when my account has previously been verified. This is very exhausting on my part especially when Philippines is at high risk of covid and stores are working virtual. If i have this billing statement why wouldnt i not want to send it after sending all my financials and of course to get my money. Pls help.

    The Casino Representative says she discussed this with their KYC team and you will need to provide the paper document showing the ownership for the registered mobile number. They can't skip this step.

  • With all due respect, for the argument of proving mobile ownership, it is crucial to understand the facts:

    1. My number 09157222213 is mine and purchase as a PREPAID sim card. I have proven this thru app, receipt and physical sim card with embossed mobile number. Evobet can schedule a call with me using this number if warranted.

    2. Since it is prepaid, Globe network does not issue billing statements. You simply have to buy loadtime credits at the store. I cannot change this fact. We use a mobile app to register prepaid cards and monitor load activity. This can be checked via globe.com.ph

    3. Evobet asked for an official document from my provider. The receipt is an official document from my provider. They never specified it. Again, only postpaid numbers have billing statements. The receipt has the name of the store, its address and business registration number, a bar code, my mobile number  my name and more.

    4. All companies have their own way of verification. It is unfortunate that I have a prepaid sim card and not a postpaid. It doesnt change the fact I own this number.

    5. I am not skipping the KYC. What i sent them is an official document paper from my mobile provider showing my name and number which they require. I just want evobet to understand and examine the facts which is out of my capacity. It is like me forcing "evobet claiming it to be a landbased casino but in fact it is an online casino" and i cannot change that.

    6. Is it my fault if my telecom will not issue a billing statement for prepaid numbers? Can evobet suggest an alternative? If i knew this will be a requirement then I would have applied first for a postpaid or not deposit with evobet at all.

    My proposal is to let me withdraw at least my first 1900 usd (my deposits). I will apply for postpaid to provide them the document that is asked. This will be done in 30 to 45 days because postpaid bills need to be generated after cutoff just like in credit card. When this is done, they can let me withdraw my winnings.

    Ps i genuinely think the casino rep is a nice person but she can help me explain this to kyc team. Right now, for humane reasons i am just desperate to pay medical expenses. I have done everything i could and will go beyond my capacity just to abide by the casinos terms and verification procedure.

  • Hi Sydney  pls help out and see attached. I do not understand how this official document NOT show that i am the owner of the mobile number registered at evobet? I sent them the pdf file. I also showed them my Globeone app account with my name and number.  Apparently you cannot register the number in the app if you do not own it as it generates an OTP in my phone. Unfortunately this is really just how our telecom works for prepaid cards and i ask evobet to please be openminded about this to see facts.  Thank you.

    There's nothing further we can do here unless you send them what they've asked for. That's part of their KYC procedure and their KYC team needs the paper document showing the ownership for the registered mobile number.

For transparency, it is true the ip address they mentioned is the IP address of Okada Manila in the Philippines where my family and I celebrated the New Year. I have sent them my booking details to prove I was there as well as the ip address check. Thanks

  • To add to this vpn issue which i thought had been resolved, okada manila is just 20minutes away from my residence and i have the booking plus receipts to confirm my location. I checked in and used the hotel wifi. My ip address has always been in metro manila and i never used VPN. I just want this nightmare to be over and withdraw my money with Evobet since im done sending all documents they need.imagine 1900usd of own money deposits and 1700 usd wins no bonus. I trusted them with my money and followed every protocol only to be slapped with a false accusation. So far this has been the longest KYC in my 10 years of online gambling!

    That's the standard rule for every casino that using VPN is now allowed and is a breach of casino T&C. 

  • They should add that to the TC clearly that players must stick to one local IP address then because i asked my lawyer he said i did not breach any terms by going to Okada hotel manila and used their wifi. OKADA said they do not use any VPN. Still waiting for final resolution from Evobet.

  • Melissa please dont get me wrong but it seems you are also pinning me of this VPN by the way you said it even though a world renowed hotel said they do not have VPN and clearly shows the hotel is only 20mins away from me. Am i not allowed to use another local wifi when im in a public place? Are you trying to help me or are you somehow trying to defend Evobet in any way?  I already raised this concern of VPN previously with Sydney and the casino rep said all i have to do is to send additional docs which i did so i can withdraw.

    Yes, we already chatted with the rep about your case and they will get back to us with the resolution. They also stated that it is not allowed to have 2 IP addresses linked to one account. However, we'll post the update as soon as we hear from them. 

  • Thanks but having 2 ip addresses if not allowed should be posted clearly in their terms. I have consulted a lawyer and it seems you cannot impose that especially when it is not stated and there was no malicious intention. Also, i have proven with evidence that i was in fact in a hotel on New years eve. I had the time to read each and every complaint lodged vs campeon and it seems there is a similar pattern how victims become trapped. I am still waiting for my hard earned money stuck in this casino.

  • Okay before Evobet will make a resolution:

     I do recognize and applaud Evobet for being timely in their replies when I send documents. So far this is positive.

    Now, i will based everything on facts so far on the basis of terms.

    It is the right of evobet to point out if their IT/software sees any discrepancy in the IP address. They pinpointed the use of VPN but has not accused me yet because they are investigating and only pointed out the ip address in question. Good.

    To counter this claim, i have provided a valid reason and proof of stay why there was an IP address of such. 

    This is in NO way (as per their terms)  an act to disguise or alter the ip address. The ip address is located in metro manila, a few minutes away from my residence. It is a publicly known IP of a world renowed hotel casino and the ip address cannot be altered by me. The only way to access Evobet on New years eve was to access the wifi of the room where i stayed in (again with facts and evidence). Again, my account was verified at this time.

    I acknowledge the right of Evobet to ask for verification documents which I completed.

    There is no clear and concise statement  from the terms that prohibits another IP address especially when there is no malicious intention to disguise location. I have always used my android phone and was in a nearby location. I would like to suggest rewording their terms upon consultation of a lawyer to imply specifically that if Evobet detects multiple IP addresses of any kind in any location, other than the one that is verified during registration, the company can seize funds. I am just not sure if this ethical.

    Mutiple software and websites have shown no VPN from the ip address in question. I have provided them references for this to back up my claim.

    I have read similar instances and there are situations where account was restored and balance successfully withdrawn when the documents prove innocence of the customer.

    If otherwise this does not resolve in my favor, there are numerous ways to solve this outside LCB and I am not referring to Antillephone NV.

    For now, I am waiting for a just decision based on facts.

  • Due to strict data privacy law in the Philippines and without a legal demand/court order from Evobet, I cannot release any official internal data from Okada Manila IT department. This is also not a required document from the KYC of Evobet. Please note I have in my possession the written official confirmation from Okada that there is no VPN. I can only release this privately to Askgamblers to aid my case upon request. However there are numerous public information available on the internet that disproves the allegation of a VPN based on the IP address in question. You may use the official receipts, screenshots and booking confirmation as proof that the location is in fact in Metro Manila Philippines and no VPN used. These are enough supportive evidence. I will await for a fair and just resolution in my favor as this is a publicized complaint. I have told Askgamblers and they will approve the pending complaint submitted as it would have been past the 72 hours processing time for a response. Thank you.

  • Thanks Melissa, I hope next week I can finally withdraw my money since my main deposits are stuck there amounting to 1900usd, not a small amount. My money theyre holding is the money of my 4 children. I do regret depositing and will stay away from any online casino acting like this from now on especially when they can concoct anything against the player even if it is inconclusive. Still i give them the benefit of the doubt. Honestly I would have let this go and move on but NO, i did not do anything wrong. I have provided them all the evidence they need. I did not even thought there would be an issue like this in the first place. So far here is the timeline:

    12/26- account created

    12/27-  documents submitted for initial verification

    12/31 to jan 1  i was in the hotel which explains the ip address in question (not a vpn)

    1/2 account verified according to chat agent

    1/4 1st accusation of vpn upon 1st wirhdrawal

    1/5 asked for more docs for FINAL CONFIRMATION (completed)

    1/17 vpn issue resurfaced

    I hope they act professional on this judgment. People will be reading thru this and it will be really COMPLICATED for Evobet in the future and quite shameful not to approve this as I was able to prove my innocence here.

  • Sorry if i bombard this forum with every bit of info i can share. I work for SEO and can share this link to news media and it will be a quite an interesting read if not a bit frustrating actually. I think the only thing making this complicated is evobets business ethics and practice. Of course they have all the right to act on suspicion but they have to base everything on facts and circumstances as well.

    • I am in Metro Manila  my deposit, my game play and my withdrawal has always been in metro manila. What sets me apart from the others they accuse of the same issue is I gave them exactly the answer and evidence they are looking for. Everything is transparent and all documents provided.
    • In reality, it will be Evobets call whether to let me get my money or not. Even if all evidence points out there is no violation, in the end I will not have a say in this. HOWEVER  as I mentioned previously if they are acting on integrity and still have any dignity left, they will give me what I deserve and that is my deposits and the money I won fair and square. As they can see I am not someone who will easily let this go.
