Netent and paylines, whats the deal?

So, I have been noticing Netent have removed the option to select paylines on several slots, as they are updated. most noticeable starburst. Anyone know why this is?

People played on a smaller number of paid lines for a lower rate and probably won the big money

This is just my guess soon the lifting awaits some other slots

I agree hunterpromotion, that was a great way for low-rollers to win big, though I cannot find anywhere an official reason why thay have changed that. 

I suppose its a way to make some quite popular titles more costly, which would effectively increase casino's revenue. Despite the fact there are mixed feelings on Starburst, it proved to be quite a popular one.

I know some people tend to play with number of active lines, claiming they have clever tactics to win big at a low investment, but I never really managed to see it work myself even though I tried some of them. Most of the time I just ended up with a dead slot.

So in the end, these changes do not affect me all that much, since I always stake on max number of lines anyway.

they lower the RTP even if they say that it is the same..the near miss algorithm has been improwed...More anger = Higher addiction...We know that playing slots is the worst choice of gambling but now days it is idiotic..better to stick to sports betting and poker if you can and play slots with small amounts of money just for fun

I also noticed this, Starburst game paylines are fixed. I always use this game to drop down my small bonus balance to zero.

I also noticed some of Quickspin games at some casinos don't have turbo spin feature ( l>l> button ). This could be a disadvantage on tournaments.

This is indeed a bad thing with the new html5 versions. I discovered some html5 microgaming slots do now have the paylines option back again
