I need help with a problem I have with them. I cashed out 150.00 and recieved a check for 105.11, ok I guess it cost 45.00 to send a check to me, I can live with that. I cashed the check at check city on 5/30 I just got a letter informing me that the check bounced on 6/5 and I'm responsible for 130.11. I went to live chat and was told I need to send them a copy of the check (which check city is holding on to until they are paid 130.11) I don't have the money to clear this, in a nutshell a check for 150.00 that cost 45.00 to send and was cashed for 105.11 is costing me 130.11 this is so unfair can anyone help? I was also told there are no phone numbers to reach them at, they have to call me somethings wrong here.

I have been reading on other forums, that apparently that using a check cashing outlet, wal-mart, or anything but depositing it into a bank account is a no no. Apparently there check processor will not, and I repeat will not process checks that are just simply cashed.
I have no idea why, but apparently there sending out stern warnings not to cash these checks. That even with Bovada too. Thank goodness I'm not playing at Bovada or Liberty Slots. -

This is why gambling in the usa is dangerous. Its too risky business now. Only die-harders are still gambling online. I personally take the 2 hrs drive now. Online casinos are robbing USA players out of fees left and right. No safe way to get money out. And fake fbi fly by night operations. Not worth it. Good luck getting this cleared. But if you would have resepected the laws inplaced. You wouldn't be going thru this trouble now.

The check may have bounced because you cashed it instead of depositing it and the majority of casinos clearly state that you should deposit the check. Why, I am not sure. But I have never had a liberty slots check bounce after I deposited it and I have been paid appro. 6 times now.

p.s. I am sure if you contact Liberty Slots they will advise you of what to do such depositing the check (if it was returned to you) or issuing you a new check minus stop payment charges.
You should always deposit these checks and never attempt to cash them unless you do so at a bank branch that is the same name of the bank the check is drawn on, even then I advise against that.
i.e. drawn on bank of america, try to cash at a bank of america branch and see what happens. -

Actually if these checks are coming from Hong Kong like Bovada ones are. It's not the US institution putting this restriction on just simply "cashing" a check. As much as it's the US Treasury. Saying that if the check is really drawn on a bank overseas. Yet that bank has an agreement with a US based bank to help process transactions for US customers. The check cannot just simple be cashed.
Therefore the check go thru a bit more scrutiny than an average check. It would actually be verified that the check was simple deposited as a two party check, not a third party check. Which is what check cashing places and places like Wal-Mart are. There third party check cashiers.
So therefore if you get a check from Hong Kong or a foreign currency. I would be careful with it. Just because it says payable thru Bank of America doesn't mean it's actually going to "cash" at Bank of America.
Silly anti-laundering laws we have here anyways. -

Exactly! You are free to move if you're thinking that it's not alright depends on your country. We have different interest in our life and if you think that this kind of thing is too risky too then you should respect other persons interest. The thread starter needs a help on his payment method but of course you don't need to encourage him to step down on what she likes. -

Since I was recently paid via check from Liberty Slots and deposited and bank credited it the following day, it was drawn on a bank located in the U.S. Otherwise it wouldn't have cleared the following day, and the bank wouldn't have allowed me to get $200.00 cash back the day I deposited it.
Also, I did have a check bounce once from the English Harbor group and I sent them a copy of my online statement showing it deposited, returned and the fee I was charged, they said to redeposit as it must of have been some kind of error(their processor advised them to tell me to redeposit). It went through the second time and I was reimbursed for the fee.
But, I deposited the check and wasn't just trying to cash it.
If you attempted to cash it and they did, then how can they take back the money from you and charge you a fee? Did you have an account at the bank or other checking cashing business? If you did, then they should return the check to you as NSF. Otherwise how would their customer pursue payment on the check from the originator or attempt to redeposit once funds became available. I have never heard of refusal to return a NSF check? This is very confusing. Can poster please be more specific -

Since they cashed the check and gave you the money, I think you will have to pay them back before you can have Liberty slots issue a new check including the fees you were charged. I only say this because if Liberty Slots issues you a new check including the fees and you then pay Check City with money from the second check, Check city will then give you the lst check back, Right? Which technically, you could try to deposit and get paid twice. Not saying that you would.
I need help with a problem I have with them. I cashed out 150.00 and recieved a check for 105.11, ok I guess it cost 45.00 to send a check to me, I can live with that. Libertyslots will need to put a stop payment on the lst check if they issue you a new check. Easiest thing to do is pay what you owe Check City get the check back, make a copy and send to liberty slots who will then issue you a 2nd check for you to deposit in a bank account. -

I won $8000 and I can only cash out $3000 at a time I'm still waiting on my payment via wire transfer customer service says it was sent on the 18th of march it is now the 21st of march I hope they are a honest casino and pay out, wish me luck!!!!!
please post when you receive payment.
plus, to everyone, you can basically not cash any checks you receive from "any" casino; you have to deposit them and even if your bank credits the amount of the check you deposited, if you can't afford to cover the check if it bounces, wait approx. 5 days and then call the bank to ask if the check cleared/was paid. Because international checks deposited may be credited to your account by your bank but that doesn't always mean the payors bank cleared the transaction. If you don't understand what I am saying google it. -

Hi gmglasvegas,
The same kind a thing happened to me on my last cashout. On my previous cashouts, my winnings were sent Via western union or moneygram. When and if I win there again, I'm going to have it sent to My bank account.
in all My experinces dealing with Liberty Slots, They have always been Fair and Honest with Me. I give Liberty Slots 2 Thumbs Up!
