Hippojo Casino: no pay, no communication...but still accepting deposits

Hello,

I'm happy that page one of Google is well served with warnings about HippoJo casino, but since this is one of the only sites that appears to recommend them, I thought I'd post here.

HippoJo has been in no-pay mode for the last four months or so, or since its third month of existence.

It's our policy to only remove a casino once our members have complaints... But we will be looking into Hippojo, please if anyone has had a negitive experience post here.

Well, since this casino isn't paying anybody and is ignoring everybody, including Bryan Bailey, I think you'll be pushed to find anything except negative experiences.

If they are actually talking to you - and as one of their only affiliates I reckon they probably regard you as gold dust - then please ask them why they have not paid anybody for almost four months now. If they tell you "we are having payment problems", then this is the same bullshit they've told everyone else since the second month of their existence. And you will then probably consider it remarkable that, whilst they cannot pay anyone, they are having no difficulty accepting DEPOSITS from everyone.

To tell you the truth we have not had much contact with them, but if anyone has a bad experience we will be glad to follow up and see what they have to say.

There are several other players who have had bad experiences, ie. who are also owed money.

Funds are not protected by law, and there is no realistic way to bring legal action against a casino in a completely unregulated neck of the ds. In this case, I don't think the Cyprus legal system is something you want to be getting into. Also, there is no point in even thinking about this when the simple fact is that the casino does not have the funds to pay. The best one can hope for is that when they do, little by little, start to get it together, payments will start to come through - as evinced by my partial payment and that of another player who was posting at Casinomeister.

That is not to say you shouldn't consider legal action if you want to, but I don't think it would have a hope in hell of achieving the desired results.

The website is down and emails are bouncing. HippoJo is almost certainly gone.
