I thought would be interesting to hear what devices you use to gamble online.

You can cast 3 votes ( in case you are using all the above devices ).

Also be free to share your experience/opinion if you do use any mobile device.

  • PC for me.

Never tried tablets or cells.  I do have a smartphone but don't think I would ever use it to gamble for real money.

  • I, like Johan , mostly used my PC ( recently I bought me a MAC which im in love with now laugh_out_loud ).

Since I have iPad and iPhone I did use them few times to gamble, mostly while I was on the road just to kill the time lol

  • Pc guy me smiley

  • like most of you Im using my PC to play.  Tho I have tried on iPad couple of times.

  • PC here  sleepy

  • I use a PC too although I've played mobile bingo in between TV commercials. smiley

  •               I only use my PC ;  my cell phone is so old it probably gets 0.5G  I really only use it to talk and even then it's not that  good.    Also,  what about data charges?  And would the phone company be okay with it?  (here in the US)?  Sorry, don't mean to ramble.....

  • Only play on my computer. Don't own a tablet so that way is out. I don't think the U.S. can play mobile and never tried. Is there any rtg that have a mobile casino? Or any casino that takes U.S. players for that matter.

  • 99.9% on my PC.  I have tried a couple of mobile casinos on my iphone and I really don't like it at all.  I don't feel like I'm in "control" - meaning I just feel like I'm being ripped off laugh_out_loud.  Maybe I just haven't tried the "right" mobile casinos.  I've yet to try MG.

  • I usually gamble on PC when Im home, which is most of the time, but I do play on mobile as well when Im away.

Couple of years ago, selection of mobile games was pretty poor an I wasnt interested to try it frankly, but as more games are added every day, now there is quite a large selection and grphics quality seems to be improving a lot. NetEnt's mobile slots are my favorite.

  • I only play on my computer but I tried a few mobile casinos and I simply don't enjoy that very much. Well, the screen is too small and I have a feeling that I don't see evrything. cheesy Though I must say, that's a great option when I'm away from home.

  • I mostly use my home computer when i play online but I have messed around with Slotland's mobile casino. Drake is another one where I like the blackjack for android. Oh yea and somebody said they were worried bout the phone company. You download these things with an internet connection so U.S. player dont have to worry bout that. I'm a US player and never had a problem.

  • Its the laptop only for me. I don't have a lot of options to play on my cell. I imagine if i did i would more than likely play while i am waiting to have my teeth cleaned  grin

  • If we get more votes this would make an interesting case study wink

  • Another PC user here. I use desktop and laptop computer dominantly, but I have also started using an Android tablet recently, and also an Android smartphone. Most mobile site versions are flash based, it can be tricky to get Flash working properly on Android (for example, Chrome doesn't support it). Anyway, I find it really cool to play a game or two when I'm not at home, on the go.

  • how about i come clean, i am a cyborg and i dont need a pc or mobile or laptop or tablet pc, i have it inside of me hahahahahahahahaha

and i also have those special google glasses tongue, so google know everything even more hehehehehehe

    scary thought though too hehe

sorry couldnt resist saying this, hopes it makes people laugh smiley laugh_out_loud laugh_out_loud

  • PC for me

  • Maybe i been watching to many sci-fi films recently and that is why i turned into a cyborg, who knows ?? laugh_out_loud laugh_out_loud

  • my vote goes to PC

  • Just got meself iPad the other day so going to install couple casinos and see what's all the fuss about it wink

  • I have a question for those who uses their cell phones and stuff.... how long does your battery last when you're playing at mobile versions?

A couple of times I tried them, I didn't really payed any attention.

  • Prob about 20%-30% for 30 to 45 mins - that's a guess.

  • PC Gambler myself  ive got a desktop and  just bought a new laptop so its still like gamble on the go, if I want to, I have tried it on my cell (iPhone) top game won't let me download on cell, if I recall theres a few bingo sites that allow it, theres a lot of slot games on the cell for entertainment purposes, the games are just like the machines here in vegas casinos, you can play, buy chips in pre-set amount packs, but cant cashout, its billed to iTunes, I know those developers are making a lot of dough, had me hooked on buying them, some I feel are a legal ripoff

That depends on your phone/battery, but also if you are playing connected to the WiFi or Mobile data (the first is much more battery friendly). Consider it to be practically like surfing the web, so with a full battery you are good to go for a few hours.

Most of the casinos offer just a mobile site version, which is nothing more than a regular site, optimized for a smaller screen, and just a few will offer special downloadable games. I always prefer the first option, as it is much more comfortable, and will work in most cases without any problem. Apps can be tricky, and I avoid the smiley
  • PC for me smiley

  • I use my pc but really wish I could use my phone because I am constantly on the go. It would make things so much easier. Getting stuck in traffic would no longer be a bad thing!  laugh_out_loud

  • Anyone familiar with some good Android apps for gambling? So far, I haven't seen a single one that does a decent job....

  • PC for me so far but I do have a nice smart phone which I always felt would be nice to play on. I agree with others that if the game developers were to put some serious time into designing a mobile game platform that was large enough to see and didn't have to rely on outside sources like iTunes for banking, I would get on board for sure. Maybe they could skip the mobile banking altogether. You add funds from your PC before you leave home and cash out when you get back?

I guess that maybe the software providers have already thought of that, just that there is not much interest from the casino side. Seeing how many people are using smart phones and tablets, I think it is just the matter of time before we get to that step.
  • Ok ok....im in the dark ages.  I dont own a cellphone laugh_out_loud

  • That's actually great, I was trying to think of the people I know that don't own a cellphone... and the list came really short.

  • Only tried it quickly at unibet since they opened there mobile casino recently and its ok but slow compared to pc.

Dont see myself using it, also very limited on slots available.

But im sure tons of people are actually using phones since they are making mobile versions of there slots, some even made mobile only slots so there gotta be a huge market already and its growning quick im sure.

  • Tried unibet too, the se result. A bit slow and laggy. Until they make the apps as fast as those we play on the computer, I don't see many people using them. Also, I want access to all the games, not just a few.

  • pc only for me.
for others, it's possible that their mobile version are not yet perfect. also, it may crash for some time giving more problems to players. though i have a smartphone, i don't think i'll be playing anytime soon.

  • I just got me a brand new tablet so I just might check some of iPad friendly sites.

  • I have a DROID RAZR and absolutely gamble 70% of the time on it.
In my silly thinking, I believe that the changing speed of data transmission gives me better odds of winning because my spin speed is always random.
I seem to have BIGGER wins when playing on my phone than when I am playing on my laptop.

But....no matter what device I am gambling with that cash out button seems to elude me.  tongue

  • if there is a casino rep in here, i hope they see this. other sites are just offering pc downloads and online games with no mobile access. there's a lot of players now wanting to play casino on their mobile/tablet. though i think creating in that platform would require so much investment, am i right?

    3.1/ 5

  • I don't have a tablet but would definitely use that more than the others if I did.  Slots sites ready for mobile are handy for me as I'm not often at my computer but, as someone has already said, not all of the casinos have a proper mobile version, although they're getting there! Link REMOVED gives a good but short list of some casino sites ready for mobile.

  • I have noticed that in most cases, even if there is a mobile site version, they don't offer all the games, but a very limited selection. It's a pity, and I think that should change soon.

  • online casinos should definitely hire programmers for creating a mobile version of their games. pc users might be on top of the list but the growth of mobile gamers are definitely rapid.

  • Well, I don't really think that there should be any difference between PC, Mac or any other platform. Just make some really good mobile apps or mobile site version, and give us all the games from the regular site.

yeah, this is a good suggestion. however, i think those manufacturers may have to spend a lot for their developers to publish 1 game. anyway, wish all games are all available in each platform.
  • Well, I think they could put in a little effort, it would surely pay out soon enough.

  • FYI the percentage of mobile spins has already surpassed 30% of all spins made at Slotland in Q2.

Let me make a wild guestimate that in 5 years from now the ratio will no longer be 30/70 but 70/30 wink

  • Youre prediction seems viable Jack. WIth maybe just a little better performing mobile devicethan I currently have,  I wouldnt use PC to play slots even when at home, its so much more convenient.

Ofc it would be necessairy for software providers to release even more games for mobile platforms so that the game selection on mobile matches the current game selection on flash versions of the casino.

  • In my opinion when gambling tablets are more "convenient" than cellphones. I mostly use PC and occasionally iPad to play poker laid back and cozy on my couch cheesy
