Chumba Casino - Sweepstakes Scam?

Recently an ad popped up on my Facebook feed since I play some play for fun casinos on Facebook for Chumba Casino. I loaded the App and it appears to be some casino disguised under the ruse that its a "Sweepstakes" 100% Legal and Safe. Much like Cleo's VIP Room operates under the disguise of a Sweepstakes.

Once in the app a deal popped up for a $1 purchase I would receive $60 in sweepstakes money to play the slots. With Facebook payments I was easily able to purchase this for $1 and given $60 in chips to play with. However, there are no terms listed for playthrough requirements, cashout requirements or anything that us experience online casino players look for. I still tested them out and their slots seem very tight. Just doing .25 and .50 bets I burned through the $60 without a single bonus on several of their slots. Looking through the help files there is no RTP percentages or anything related to the payback of their slots. I also was not able to find where they are licensed. They appear to be an company. There is no live support chat, no phone number, only an email address to contact them. This is very troublesome as communication is key with online casinos.

My Review of Chumba Casino Facebook is that you should stay far away. Their terms are very vague. After sifting through several posts on their Facebook timeline at Chumba Casino online they make payouts via PayPal. Chumba Casino rep stated that the withdrawl minimum is $400 for Facebook version of Chumba Casino. That is ridiculous and this place should be avoided at all costs. Most of their deposit options are for small amounts and given how tight the slots are to get your balance high enough to cash out would take a miracle.

The fact that Chumba Casino is operating under a disguise of sweepstakes and somehow Facebook and PayPay are ok with Americans gambling with real funds this way is troublesome to me yet we can't play on regulated software sites that produce RTP information, provide live chat and phone support and are licensed in their respective jurisdictions.

To me, Chumba Casino is a scam.

Not long ago I also saw some Facebook casino, nothing about it seemed legit. I don't know how you can take them seriously, so let's just play at online casinos not ones we find on social networks, that's what I think.

Firstly and most importantly: I don't work for chumba or any other person trying to earn money or doing anything illegal- I am a fellow lcb user and I have tried chumba casino a few times in the past  was playing on their home page so I could withdraw less at a time than @ facebook (for some reason the minimum you have to have to withdraw in their facebook app is $400)  So I maybe already spent $50 before today, but Today I deposited $10 and hit the bonus round a few times in 2 of the games (monster spins and golden wish) and I got to over $125, . so I withdrew the minimum there which is $100 , as with any casino they've sent an email that asked me to send proof of my id and Address etc. So I just sent it to them. We'll see what happens. ill update this post later

update: I did receive the entire $100 into my paypal account, I am actually really surprised how quickly this was done,  So far I see nothing wrong with this casino.  again: I am not paid nor am i in contact with anyone having to do with any casino. I am just a user, and this is my personal opinion.

My favorite casino is Chumba. I have cashed out several times and the money is in your paypal account within hours. I do not know of any other online casino that can say this.

Much better to play on their web site instead of FB but it is a legit casino that does pay out thru pay pal and quite quickly at that. 

Chumba Casino emails people and bribes them to post a good review on their facebook page in order to receive a $50 bonus. Thats why you see positive posts in their visitor comments. They will let you win in the beginning so you get hooked then all of a sudden your luck is taken away and will never win again. They control what you win, when you win. You will see three pictures match up for the bonus and then all of a sudden skip to a different image.

For a while I thought chumba may be a scam but it indeed is not I was so surprised to get the $10 bonus around Christmas time and that played it and then they said they couldn't pay me because I need to verify my identity so I did that and then they said that there was another name linked to the account and I needed to verify that one and they did and then Within just a few hours I receive my money so from the actual time that I requested money withdrawal and verified my identity I was paid within 24 hours in my PayPal account in full. I love chumba Casino no matter how much people say it's a scam I do not believe it's a scam might be kind of hard to win once in a while but that's all part of gambling it was definitely worth . I tried this facebook casino and do not like it. Their slots seems tighter then a duck's ass. I removed the app from my facebook page. 

I have played chumba I have 160.00 in my cash window. Clicked on cash out. Had to fill out typical info. That was five days ago. Still waiting for account to be approved. Hopeful;ly thing are legit. I'll let you know!

I'm currently trying to send my Photo id to cash out my winnings. The email they sent doesn't specify where to send the photo license so I replied and emailed and even sent it through the support link. They never responded to my questions about where exactly to send the id but they did send me another email telling me I have 48 hours to send it.

Chumba Casino lets you win when you are a new player, they will wait til your hooked and after a couple months of winning, all you will do is lose eveything you put in. They had a 297% profit in just a couple of months in Dec 2016. Im pretty sure those big named winners on the winners list are just made up names. They have never posted on facebook or even played the facebook trivia. Makes you think twice about that. While the payout is quick I will say that ever since they did an update, winning seems to be impossible.  They do not offer comp points or match bonuses and I am not sure about all these people who seems to win thousands everyday yet, never see any post from them.  Same names all the time for big wins.

me:  i only have one account that i use thats paypal verified,my sister,mom,and boyfriend used my name on there account so that i could deposit money from my paypal so they could try it out (thinking that my name is on the card so it would have to match up) they dont have a paypal or want one, as far as my account it's linked with facebook i've spent a lot of money just to have it deactivated i didn't see anything wrong with getting the word out about chumba, wish chumba would have contacted me before doing so i would have understood and agreed with getting rid of the other accounts in question, or at least refund me the money i've put into this account. I don't feel this is right to assume everyone is trying to manipulate the system i was simply excited about chumba and wanted to share it with people i know.

You need to be careful when you use your payment cards. As far as I understood, your family used your PayPal account with your name on it to deposit in Chumba, right? Please be informed that if you are a card holder you are the only one who can use it. Although you didn't have any intention of making duplicate accounts, it's your PayPal account, which the casino recognized as a duplicate. Please be more careful regarding these things in the future. 

I agree Chumba Casino is a scam, because I am constantaly receiving emails for deposits of $20 and more for a small amount of bonus or chips, with the sweepstakes chips that I do not believe in.  I don't even believe in the positive reviews.  It all started off free, then a choice of $5, $10,...Those promos or any or no longer available. and now you have to withdraw with a $100 min, which I am afariad you 'll never gert there.

mmm, are you really sure you got paid by PayPal? That is amazing of you then.  Many casinos this time are scams so, be careful when making a deposit. I've been victim already from the gambling site. taking money on my card without informing me I just noticed when I checked my bank especially if you are using the  visa cards easy for them to get your money even no authorization from you because when you fill up the form you also have to input the CCV #

I have personally played here and have had not a problem cashing out as a matter of fact I just cashed out and my money was in my paypal account within a half hour could not believe it was that fast when you are verified you have a special cash out pin and you enter that and thats it. its definitly not a scam i have cashed outt over 4 thousand  in the last 6 months of playing there, and the money is always in my paypal account with 6 hours. they dont have many games but the games they do have are great fun. more casinos should look into the business plan of chumba casino. even betsoft partnered up with them becuase they know that this is a valid workaround for all of us in the US that dont get the same chance to gamble online as they rest of the world.

These guys market themselves as "sweepstakes" which is a loophole into the USA market. They cleverly offer you free sweeps and then you have the option of buying tokens, or Gold Coins with real currency. Please be cautious and make sure not to make multiple accounts, one through facebook and one through email sign up, they will shut you down!

ok so I have been fortunate enough to cash out $600 first time $450 my second time and yes they paid me very quickly right into my paypal account

Do Not play at Chumba Casino their games are way too tight and you will wind up spending the money that you budget to play with very quickly with little and I do mean little to no win. There is no communication with any support other then emails and FB chat, I have had the games stop, have seen people post pics of where the game software intermingle with another game and they rarely offer free bonuses unless you play their trivias and that too is another hard thing to win. So if your looking for a quick pay out from them some have experience quick payout within hours while others have taken days. Once again I advise you to play at your own risk their games are not like normal casino games where you at least have some minor change given to you and you can play for at least 20 mins unlike CC where your money is lost within seconds and I'm not kidding true story. There is something not right about them the only reason I keep playing my spare change is to get my money back weird but true. I believe that ChumbaCasino is nothing but a big scam. I played for a few days, and then cashed out. I have been waiting now 2 weeks for $155.00 and $75.00 payouts. They keep yanking my chain telling me they need more information, or that I haven't given them the right information. I've done everything they asked. I've been waiting 4 days now since they last answered me. This is ridiculous. I've told everyone I know to stay away from this, that it's just a scam. Thankfully I'm only down $15 of my own money. What a bogus site.

Like many other people saw this casino on Facebook ads. I recently been killing it in live casino slots so I figured i'd give the online ones a try.  I started with a $10 deposit ,gone in under 5 minutes. A couple days later deposited $30...won some then busted. Then one last time i said and deposited $10.   Within s few minutes i was up $250, mainly due to the first spin on Chili mamas and won $157 . Then I hit $70 on classic spins bonus round. and a few smaller ones on the 7's games and big boss man.

All in all, i'd say it's not a scam,but the RNG is definitely rigged to slowly drain your money if you keep playing.  New strategy is cutting down playing time on each slot and setting limits on the amount i gamble with for each slot.  The most consistent slot i think are the 7's games,but they dont pay much on the minimum bets. Classic spins seems to be the best 50 cent one for me anyway,even without the bonus round you can win decent payouts on the 5 of a kinds,but will bust you quick if your not getting lucky

first thin is about paypal. In netherlands paypal its not eligle for gambling transactions and second thing. Verification in request to pay out is for U.S location only. Maybe they will pay 600 usd even if you play from restricted location but if winnings will get big amount I think will get denied ..

I have cashed out many times at CHUMBA. Been playing for years. Usually pay within 3 hours to your paypal account. It seems that it is harder to hit the bonus on most games than other online casinos but when you do you can win some big money.

Well you   are a lucky  one They have  scammed lots of people.They want  personal info they dont need to pay aout I sent in what they asked for but they wanted  more My bank numbers.One person they wanted Social security number I sent in Dl  insurance bill  Bank statement  without acct numbers as pay pal  has them. Just thought I would let everyone know, they no longer work with Paypal for deposits and withdrawals.

I haven't deposited for this reason. Turns out I checked my account the other day and I must have won a contest on Facebook for Chumba and not realized it! I had $50 bucks in my account, which is what they usually give you for winning a contest. I never received an email that I won, but something told me to check my account and there was the $50! After playing for about half an hour, I hit pretty big on their Leprechaun slot! Over $100 bucks! So I cashed out $100! It goes right to your bank account now. I am waiting for my funds to be deposited. 

I will keep everyone posted as to if I actually get the payment or not. There are still many mixed reviews from this site. I have cashed out once when they were still using Paypal as a payment and withdrawal option. That was last year. 

I am hoping I get paid, a lot of people on their Facebook page have said they have indeed gotten paid!

Now its just a waiting game for me. My cash out was approved on Sunday. It can take 3-5 business days to reflect in my bank account. So, now I wait and see!
