5Dimes Casino Ceases Service to USA Players

5Dimes Casino has just announced that they will be suspending service to customers located in the United States. 

The casino is urging all US players to withdraw their funds by September 25, 2020. Should the players continue to play and/or fail to withdraw balance before the stated timeline, the fund will be transferred to the claims administrator who will then attempt to return the money to the affected parties. 

We contacted 5Dimes to confirm the validity of this information, and this is what we've been told in the screenshot below:

Additionally, our US associates attempted to register an account with the casino, but as expected, the registration form does not list the United States among accepted countries. 

The reason given with regards to the suspension of US accounts is that the casino is relaunching the company into a better one and that they are forced to only temporarily suspend US players.

Regardless, LCB urges you to hurry up and withdraw your funds to avoid any potential problems!

So they are going to suspend service to the US players, but only temporary?? WTH does that even mean? It makes zero sense, all I know is get your money out asap

This is indeed a first for temporary shutdown. We will have to keep our eye on this casino. In meantime folks if you have money in your account, now is the time to cashout!

I've ever heard of anything like this before considering it's not a licensing issue. All we can do is wait it out and see. Cashout out your balances!

Something weird is going on there. We'll see what happens. It's better to stay away from this brand for now until we all see what's going on. 

Definitely an interesting move. Haven't we seen suspicious activity from them before? Just finiding it difficult to see logic in this decision. Interested to see a follow-up on this!

Did they give an exact reason why they're closing their service to US players?

We will contact the casino to try and get more information on this, however, we do know they wish to enter the legal, regulated US market on a legitimate footing and relaunch as a legal sportsbook and casino.

They are currently attempting to secure eligibility to apply.
