Maybe it has changed but both Springbok and Thunderbolt have it written in their terms and conditions that only South African players are legitimately entitled to use bonuses. 

I used to like playing at these casino's because playing in ZAR was cheap action, however, after I read the terms and conditions and was given a confirmation of these terms and conditions by the casino rep I stopped using bonuses. 

The funny thing is they will give you the bonus if you are not a South African resident. At least I have gotten them in the past anyhow. And they will even honor a cash out request won from a bonus, which has happened to me once for a small amount. 

But it is in their terms and conditions that only South African players are eligible to receive bonuses. So that turned me off as I thought if ever got a big win from bonus play they could then rightfully deny payment. Also the contradiction of  what is writtin in their terms and conditons as opposed to their practice of giving me a bonus and paying a small payout won from a bonus totally turned me off. 

Like I said this was some time ago and maybe it has changed I have not read their terms and conditions lately. 

Anyhow trust is everything in online gaming in my opinion and such a contradiction does not inspire trust from this player. 

okay it is there term number 27 in Springboks terms and conditions today states that  

"Only accounts from the following countries will be allowed to redeem a bonus, South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho,  and Mozambique."

I had to reread carefully several times to locate it. 

As of today May 24th 2020 the terms and conditions include this number term number 27 restricting bonuses based on country of residence. 

I could not find this in the Thunderbolt terms and conditions, but I am tired of trying right now. I will update later if I see it, but it does not appear to be there after my second reading. It is hard to read the fine print, honestly.
