  • What do think about casinos charging fees on the deposits you make.  Some casinos make extra charges of 4-6% of your credit card deposits.

Casinos make profits from players making deposits and play at their casinos. And if they have poker tables, they make money from deducting fees every round on each table. And players pay fees to enter a tournament, for example: $10.00 tournament will cost you $11.00 to sign up. $10.00 into the tournament pool and $1.00 for the house fee.

Do you think it should be allowed for casino cashiers to charge you processing fees on the money you are making deposit with them?

  • Hi jan,

I don't like it! They get charged up to 3% for each card transaction they accept, but that's just a cost of doing business and not one that should be passed on to customers. They've probably bumped up the fee to 4 - 6% to account for any currency conversion fees on top. I don't think a reputable casino should be charging players to deposit using a card. Greedy!

  • Nope, I would understand if they ask a small percentage of fee on deposits or withdrawals which is not always happen. Tournaments fee I really never heard of that, I have participated a few tournaments and they never asked for a small fee.

  • I do not think any reputable casino would charge the play a fee on depositing.  I understand the Visa or your bank or what every can charge a fee but not the casino.

  • Fees normally on e-wallets anbd Visa are charged by SkillonNet casinos and I think some of them like PlayOJO is a reputable casino.

I mean even top casinos like Red Ping win and some other Direx NV casinos also used to charged a fee, but as of lately they removed all their fees.

SkillonNet has been doing that for a while now, and I doubt that will change in future. They even stopped their wager free spins and started implementing x30 on their free spins again ,except for PlayOJO.

  • On top of their deposit processing fee, my credit card charges international transaction fee. So you are ended up paying fees here and there.

  • If it is an honest and fair casino that has a high payout percentage and the withdrawal process is smooth and fast then I have very little problem with it.

Mr. Green does this when you withdraw rather than when you deposit. And since Mr. Green is, in my opinion, a very decent and trustworthy casino I do not mind that they take a small fee on withdrawal.

However, there are quite a few other good casino's that do not make these extra charges. Unibet is one prime example of a fee free and very good place to play.

If you do not like it I guess the onus is on the player to find gambling sites where they treat you well in other ways and do not charge any extra fees.

That is my 2 cents (or percent if you will) anyhow.

  • I stay away from casinos who charge fees to deposit BTC at least. Haven't heard of two many that do, but hey, anythings possible these days.

  • I think it's mega rip off

  • I think its ridiculous. The casinos already make money off of there games. For them to make extra money off of peoples deposits is just pure greed. And when you win and request a cashout they always give you a hard time.

  • Some casinos even charge a fee for withdrawals. You should read the casino terms and conditions well before you deposit or withdraw your money.
