Is there a good Formula For Dummies that would help me relate to the betting amount in bitcoins vs usd? I seem to be able to play sometimes on cash games for days on one deposit but he out of funds in less than an hour on bitcoin games. Why?

Well, it is not a matter of currency, gambling has always been about luck. You probably had more luck playing with USD than with BTC. There's no conspiracy I can assure you of that. I know this because I had great experience playing with BTC.

You can always go to a site like www.preev.com and enter the bitcoin amount.  It automatically gives you the USD equivalent of it at current market price.  You can also search google for "BTC to USD" and can do a similar conversion anytime so you know how much you are playing for :)  It gets easier the more you play and the cash out speeds with crypto are significantly faster than almost every other method out there.

You have asked a good question and from my experience the entire facts, stats, ways to consider is very challenging and comes with a focus and learning the techniques.  If you are a newbie trying to decipher the two between play, transactions, and facts, you will really have to know the cryptocurrency aspects and understand that there are constant changes by the minutes.  You have to really know the casinos terms, game play, crypto wallet terms, ratios, conversions, and other indept knowledge base before plugging into a large amount for a trial and error failure.  It is sometimes difficult to understand the value on a winning spin if you do not know the min/max amount to cash out at the casino and/or do not know the conversion rate.

I once had won 19 BTC and kept gambling not knowing the value conversion into USD, nor realizing that I had already went over the cash out max of 5 BTC.  Since then, the conversion and values have changed so much, that it would not even amount to the same.

In the long run your brain get used to cryptos and figure out by itself the value of what you are betting or have in balance. For me it was very easy to figure because for a while and still these days 1 mbtc was close to 10$ value in canadian dollars. 1 mbtc= 1000 ub and 10$ is 1000 cents... so very very easy to calculate... i bet 90ub.. im betting 90 cents.  Nowadays for european people it's not very hard either as it's very close to 1ub=0.5 cent.. so you are betting 50ub.. you are betting 25 cents. But as i said in the long run your brain will get used to it.

There's definately benefits to depositing crtocurrency over united states dollar. The minimum deposit is less and the maximum withdrawal is more. They also sometimes dont ask you to verify all your information for a cashout because once the btc is in the casinos account its there for life.
