    I had 3 different prepaid visa card, money gram prepaid card, netspend and green dot and I will have to close or cancel two of them, here is why.

    Money gram prepaid visa (close)
    monthly fee = $5.95
    they charge $1 fee for every transaction
    it's too difficult to reach customer support
    load money only with money gram

    Netspend (close)
    monthly fee = $9.95
    load online using debit card, $99 max per load, $3.95 fee, 6 loads limit per month
    it's too difficult to contact customer support

    Greendot
    monthly fee (will be waved if you reach $1000 in load)
    load online $200 per load, $4.50 fee, unlimited
    using the money pack, you can load the money to your card or to paypal
    I load ususally more than $1000 a month, so this is the card for me.

    the only thing about green dot is they will deactivate your card if you made too many deposits in a week.  That happened to me twice. and now on this third card it happened again.  They told me that after nov. 15, it would be permanently closed and i am not allowed to use green dot cards anymore,.

    i use net spend and load it at vons or rite aid as many times as i want ?? never heard of limit loads per month.....

    yes you can load it at vons or rite aid as many times as you want.
    the limit loads per month apply for loading online using your debit card.

    I didn't use it with easydebit, but it worked fine with others that allow visa deposit
