  • Found this site while hunting for online poker sites that dont manipulate the cards. It uses the provably fair blockchain dealing program which makes it impossible to cheat or "hack" to see others cards, it also plays on your browser so no downloading needed. Its pretty new and doesnt have alot of players yet but I think if youre into holdem and sick of the river bad beats given on so many of the "popular" poker sites then check it out. They only use bitcoin atm. https://fair.poker/  >link modified by moderator Dzile<

  • Turns out the provably fair system has been corrupted almost since its inception. I never trusted those words. With that said, I will check it out. Thanks for the info.

  • I probably should have said 'corruptible' instead of "corrupted", but both are true.

A probably fair system is, by definition not corruptable. It allows you to confirm after each bet whether or not the outcome was influenced by either the casino or the player.

It can’t verify the outcome till after it happens. The article you linked is actually a good example of the benefits that the transparency of a PF system provides.

They were manipulating some but not all bets.  All it took for them to get caught was a player verifying one of those bets.  When the actual outcome doesn’t match the expected outcome we have proof that the casino was not offering what they claimed

The casino can not influence a bet and then have it be verified as fair.

  • My thing is what is probavly fair or whatever? It seems like just miss spelled fair lol??

  • Like is there a way to play and when real crypto and money from this poker?

Well you are mispelling it...it's provably fair.  As in after the outcome is revealed, it can be proven whether or not the result was manipulated or known before hand.

  • Thanks.

The site is very beautiful and everything is clear!

    I think I'll stay!

Well, a "probably fair" system entirely encapsulates the definition of corruptible, but also by definition of the word corrupt and its many variations, the provably fair system fits comfortably as well. Your own explanation of how they were able to take advantage of the system in that case completely debases the very point you were trying to make in defense of the system being incorruptible. That by definition is a contradiction, I believe.

  • With that said, though, it would be much more difficult to corrupt the provably fair system with poker than it is with dice. Never say never though ;-)
