  • I am SHOCKED at the descrease increase here! Just one month ago they hot the 2,000$ (usd) mark and now they are nearly 2800$? That is insane.I use to bid TONS of these now I cannot even afford a FRACTION of one! blah! Great way to gamble IF it's smaller bids, casinos STILL haven't (bitcoin) caught on to "LOWER YOUR BETS!" that's why business is not "booming" the way it should ugh lol What are your thoughts are on the casino's not adjusting their wagering requirements on some of the most popular games (or requesting the game maker's/owners to do so!) and the price/rising/falling of bitcoin in whole? Thanks!i_love_lcb

  • My self absolutel shoced and also Most of people in cryptocurrency world was shocked like hell too because of that bitcoin price that rise like rocket to sky..

This condition start at June 25th 2017 GMT+7. At that day i had transaction  history on my cryptocurrency exchange account with $3250/BTC and $2846/BTC, it different almost $450. And made me transform from a casino+sportsbook gambler to be a cryptocurrence gambler LOL

  • i dont have any myself but my brother does. he was there early on and has a few. and it is shocking to me that with something like this you can have many thousands of real currency potentially. i envy my brother now a little for the vision he had in this.

    sad

  • I am also shocked on the price of bitcoins , i dont think i can afford to use bitcoins for gambling specially if the price keeps going up and besides there are other ways of making a deposit ,

  • Bitcoin price increase and SHOULD keep increases for awhile (it still can drop badly, it's illegal to use BTC in Russia for example - if other countries will follow  then price can drop - just an example, so don't forget about risk). However the rate it's increasing isn't really that high...+250% last 6 month. And it's one of biggest buble last years.

I have invested a little in other altcoin - after 5 months its price increased 1500%. And it's still undervalued in my opinion. So yeah, crypto are good for investing/gambling these days.

  • As I said:

There are rumors that China will ban crypo exchanges and BTC lost 25%of its value. If China will confirm it then I expect BTC to be down to 2k$ or less.

  • Bitcoin is kind of a gray area.   Many countries allow it, but don't have a real clear policy regarding how it should be regulated or even allowed.  I think once decisions on regulation and policy are made in certain countries,  the price will probably go up even higher.

@Bongo - Have you got any bitcoin stashed away? If so, will you be holding them for the long term or will you sell them as soon as the price increases to give you a nice profit margin?

  • Sadly no Mel.   Believe me,  I could kick myself  for NOT  rat-holing as much as I could get my greedy meathooks on.  I've had a cashout of 2.5 Bitcoins (when it was around $300 and change)   and now I'm thinking'   why didn't I save at least 2.....aaaahh,  don't get me started.......angry

  • I should also say, what I am shocked at is the fees. It seems they have been going up with the price of Bitcoin itself.  I think I might look into mining if my bad luck continues......cheesy

In hindsight its easy to say we should have held on to some but at the time its the unknown and such a volatile currency.

  • Yeah, don't I know it.  Now you have wealthy investors who are pouring tons of money in it as it seems like a Gold mine if you time it right.   If I get lucky any time soon,  I think I'm just going to save some for a while and see what happens.

    2.9/ 5

yeah i got a beef with ever increasing fees, but i reckon that was to be expected to happen sooner or later... and imo it will keep going up .

I'm not shock I been preaching to all my friends and family unfortunately none of them took me seriously most of them had no clue what a bitcoin is. I was first introduced to bitcoins June 2015 price was only 220 usd per coin I was told it's the most convenient and fastest way to deposit and withdraw money from my poker account and right away i knew the future was bright for btc because of the high demand and what it was being use for. Every month seen the price go up so I started preaching to all my friends and family how next month it's gonna be worth more last year  I told my older sister to remember the price right now which we're 780 usd watch a year from now it's gonna be double up the price sI was wrong it's over 5x the price.i was shock and mad when they btc had that major surge doubling its price in one month because I sold a good amount just a month before miss out on a lot of money selling it.

  • Now it is over $8000, so considering the time when this post was written, the price went up triple, huh.

This price hike actually began when British voted out of EU, whether or not you remember.

I don't know how to correlate these two events, though wink

  • i cant believe the prices it was almost 12000 yester day and it just hit 10000 two days ago thats almost 2000 in one day

  • crazy times! I used to think oh i only have one BTC, but now its worth helluva more than when I won it earlier this year. Super glad I hodl to it wink

  • I think everybody is shocked, except of those luckers, who managed to invest money in Bitcoin when it costed 25-500$.
