  • Day 7:

A film everyone should see once in their lives is "The elephant man" by David Lynch.

Beautiful and upsetting, from the true and sad story of J.Merrick,it will remind you how lucky you are.

  • Day 7 - What one movie would you recommend to a friend that they absolutely must see?

I would probably recommend the fantastical movie, Pulp Fiction. Quentin Tarantino's magnum opus was an absolute rollercoaster of a ride. The movie had exceptional dialogue - this is the biggest thing - as well as an invigorating plot, and incredible characters. Although not everyone may like it (it is a kind of niche film) I would recommend that everyone should at the very least watch some of it, and see if they enjoy it or not.

The soundtrack, cinematography, acting, all of it was superb. And at the end of the movie, you're still left with questions -- though it's not a bad thing.

  • Day 7 - What one movie would you recommend to a friend that they absolutely must see?

I do not think there is one film not to see that you can not die.
Every year the world produced thousands of movies to rent and at least ten of them are worth a look.
I have many favorite movies, though the more I love to read.
The film must be matched to your mood and if not matched, the masterpiece of the world may seem boring and bland.

Today, when I read the question of the day, in my memory at once there was a movie The Blue Lagoon - probably because it's winter and not enough sun.
If outside your window also are cold and gray - see this movie, warm the soul.

  • Day 7: What one movie would you recommend to a friend that they absolutely must see?

There are so many good ones to choose from I think i will pick an older movie called " Uncle Buck "  it is comedy.

Thanks and good luck everyone  :)

  • Day 7: What one movie would you recommend to a friend that they absolutely must see?

My must see is "Into the Wild"

    Gone with the Wind

Gone with the Wind is a 1939 American epic historical romance film adapted from Margaret Mitchell's 1936 novel Gone with the Wind. It was produced by David O. Selznick of Selznick International Pictures and directed by Victor Fleming. Set in the American South against the backdrop of the American Civil War and Reconstruction era, the film tells the story of Scarlett O'Hara, the strong-willed daughter of a Georgia plantation owner, from her romantic pursuit of Ashley Wilkes, who is married to his cousin, Melanie Hamilton, to her marriage to Rhett Butler. The leading roles are portrayed by Vivien Leigh (Scarlett), Clark Gable (Rhett), Leslie Howard (Ashley), and Olivia de Havilland (Melanie).

"Frankly Scarlett, I don't give a damn"! Awesome movie. You will be added to prize draw.

  • Day 8

I would encourage others to play "Birds."

Absolutely the best 3D quality and tons of fun to play.

The fact that I have had more luck, more often in this game is the #1 reason I would suggest to others to give it a try!

  • blood suckers

  • spacewars, In a distant galaxy are all kinds of monsters, they are fighting with each other, fly in spaceships. In general, live life to the fullest, it is much more fun than us, earthlings. These wonderful creatures do not resemble us, the people, but we have an opportunity to make a profit with their interesting combinations. Playing the kind of simple, but the rate can be as high as 400 euros, if you want the slot krutnut big. But I advise you first play a minor point, read, get comfortable. After making sure that the money is easiest to weld on in the cosmos in the intergalactic wars monsters, you will begin to rapidly increase the rate to come closer to success. To many it is quite possible, as Space Wars and other automatic slots NetEnt - definitely fair game, if, of course, have an audit control. The Casino-X, by the way, he is one of the best - eCogra, and peyaut on this slot - almost one hundred percent.

  • Day 8 - What slot would you recommend to someone who has never played before?

When I logged into my first online casino I was dumbfounded.  Twenty-lines, thirty-lines, fifty-lines, what the hell!   I was confused to say the least and excited, all at the same time.  What to do?

I think Wager GamingTechnology has some of the best, small bet, 3 reel slots that are especially great for that "someone who has never played before!"

You can make a small deposit $20, $25 and if you use bitcoin, as little as $10.

One of my favorites is 'TRIPLE TRIPLE GOLD!'   It's a 3 reel thrill.  On as little a .03, you can win relatively BIG POTS with just one spin and start to easily understand the mechanics of these slots before you go for broke.

I think it's a great place to start!

  • Day 8 - What slot would you recommend to someone who has never played before?

I would recommend T-REX. It is simple, but exciting to play:

You spin & if you get at least three eggs you are told to choose them & they hatch to reveal up to 10 free games per egg.

During this bonus if T-REX (which is wild in the bonus & normal play) appears on the middle reel, all the other dinosaurs change to T-REX.

I have had some big wins playing this game!

  • Day 8 - What slot would you recommend to someone who has never played before?

I would recommand an older slot as they seem to pay better. I think i would Crystal Waters it is only 20 lines and the bonus round seem to come more often.

    Thanks and good luck  :)

  • Day 8 - What slot would you recommend to someone who has never played before?

    triple twisted

  • What slot would you recommend to someone who has never played before?

I would recommend one of the oldie but goodies.   Examples are, Diamond Mine Deluxe, Star and Stripes, Lucky Lightin, Bonkers, and hundreds more.  Most of these slots are one line payouts, so if you are not so lucky that day, it will not break a player's bankroll.  Plus these slots are fun to play and some of them have progressive jackpots.

    Good Luck!

  • Day 8 - What slot would you recommend to someone who has never played before?

Immortal Romance, absolutely. I mean, the vampire theme is just thrilling and the feeling when you see Wild Desire coming up, it is undescribable as it can make your whole day.

  • The slot i would recommend is Aladins Wishes. Its a great slot with good win potiental. If you have not tried it, you might want to go check it out. It is avaliable at RTG casinos. I have played it and i have had a pretty good time with my balance going up good. Then i usually change games and it goes down hill fast lol. Next time your at an RTG casino, take it ffor a spin wink.

  • When I was still able to play the Microgaming games, I always allot 30 spins to play the Mega Moolah games.   All slots uses RNG (randon number generator) so there is always a chance that you might trigger the Mega Moolah jackpot and win it.  Since Microgaming is no longer available to me, I always, however still play 5 to 10 spins on Mega Fortune  (Netent), still hoping to win it :)

There are many games available out there, so for those first timers, try each game (5 to 50 spins) then move to another game until you find what you really like.  Other slot games might be lucky for some and not for you so just enjoy all the games available to you.  Variety is the name of the game.

  • Hi LCB members,

In my opinion, the most important thing that all new players are searching is slot with high RTP which is more easy to clear the playthrough of bonus (All players that never played before will claim free bonus for sure). So, I recommend the "Aladdin's treasure" game (4 Lines x 5 reels slot of pragmaticplay software).

  • Day 9 - Name ONE rogue terms and conditions in particular you would want to tell a new player to avoid.

    BEWARE; Casinos using TOPGAME SOFTWARE have this rouge t&c;

Whatever amount you deposit, with no bonus of any kind,

You will only be given 10 X your deposit upon withdrawal, even if you hit their biggest jackpot!

Worst than rouge, I'd never deposit at a TOPGAME CASINO, NEVER.....................

  • Day 9 - Name ONE rogue terms and conditions in particular you would want to tell a new player to avoid.

you must deposit before whithdraw, you can whitdraw with same method you deposited

  •  Adding bonus funds automatically

some casinos, without the player knowing, automatically adds a "bonus".  This is bad specially if you are playing with your own money (no bonus, so no WR). if they add it while you are playing, it'll be too late to know that you have some WR left to go through, and this you will only know when you do a withdrawal.

  • Day 9 - Name ONE rogue terms and conditions in particular you would want to tell a new player to avoid:

If the T&C's put a limit on your cash outs unless you play back a certain amount, run & don't look back!

  • Day 9 - Name ONE rogue terms and conditions in particular you would want to tell a new player to avoid:

    Long authorisation period for withdrawals

  • Day 9 - Name ONE rogue terms and conditions in particular you would want to tell a new player to avoid:

Zenekk to newbies - listen up T&C are like forbidden fruits.. Players like me loose many times before I realized what is important and wich casinos are to kind to be fair..

About withadrawal I want to say something cause this is the point of all players. Some casinos have it limits like maximum amount from bonus to pay out.. Minimum withadrawals also are limited . Some payment methods have a fees  like bitcoin wallets or paper checks,  bank wire.

" The minimum withdrawal amount is €50, per request, via all available withdrawal options, excluding Paper Check, which has a minimum withdrawal limit of €300; and Bank Wire, which has a minimum withdrawal limit of €500.
4.9.1. Paper Check withdrawals will be charged a €20 fee and Bank Wire withdrawals a €28 fee"

If You really want win something ever stay with your favorite sites where your account is completly verified with popular e wallet for transfers. Always look reviews and expiernces of other players. When You decide to be depositing player in casino first finish verification and set  the limits of gambling..

  • Day 10 - What is a good home remedy for someone who has a cold?

I still use the same ones my parents used with me. I guess I never looked into how they really worked; I've just blindly kept using them because they make me feel better. Today I looked into them as clarification for this post:

Chicken Soup - This actually does triple duty. Hot liquids relieve congestion and soothe the inflamed lining of your nose                                 and throat.

                            - slows the movement of neutrophils in your body which help protect your body from infection.

                            - keeps you hydrated.

Get plenty of fluids - It helps break up your congestion, makes your throat moist, and keeps you from getting dehydrated.

Use a humidifier - hels to loosen up your stuffy nose.

Gargling with salt water - reduces and loosens mucus & may help ease sore throat.

  • Day 10 - What is a good home remedy for someone who has a cold?

    coalstove with stovepipe

    :)

    soba

  • when feel getting cold is good to take a pill coldrex .nurofen before get worst

many times my cold go before to start seriously with a pill

but if is too late to prevent i recomand tea with lemon.chicken soup.oranges.

lemon with honey and water a bit warm

i never drink cold drinks when i have a flu.i saw arent good for me

and of course coldrex pills or nurofen in first days

i believe tablets are more eficient instead powder soluble

if cold take too many days and fiever no disapear is good to go at doctor to treat no wait for complications

im always scared when someone have fiever

  • Day 10 - What is a good home remedy for someone who has a cold?

To  talk to each other "warm"  words like mink coat,  a blanket....

This is a joke, but kind words really warm better than any heating.

  • Day 10 - What is a good home remedy for someone who has a cold?

If you feel bad, stay home!

    Don't spread those germs!

  • Day 10 - Onions are considered as the best natural home remedy.

  • Day 10 - What is a good home remedy for someone who has a cold?

No meds just few drops of CBD oil ;)

  • My grandmother used to make soup out of roosters she had on the farm and homemde apple cider from the orchard.

Catch the rooster (better to let the kids chase him if you have kids)

Well, you know what happens to the rooster after he is caught

Boil down until meat falls off the bone, add salt pepper garlic and a small amount of flour to make a thicker broth

serve as hot as you can stand and eat

Hot apple cider with honey is best Foghorn leghorn

  • Day 11 - What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

This is a toughy. I have lived in Minnesota all my life and the winters here can last as long as 8 months. I recently saw it ranked #1 for having the most miserable winter. https://www.thrillist.com/travel/nation/states-with-the-worst-winters-worst-us-states-for-winter.

The older I get, the more the snow & cold depress me. I make sure not to spend too much time cooped up at home waiting for Spring to come. Go shopping, visit the grandkids, any excuse to get out & get some fresh (cold) air & exercise helps.

If there is a day I have to stay in all day because of the snow or windchill, I relax in a nice warm bath. Besides being relaxing, I feel clean & fresh & it generally makes me feel better.

So even though I hate going out in the cold & it might be nice to sit around in my PJs all day, I know these things would only make me feel worse in the end.

  • Day 11  How to beat the winter blues

Volunteer at a homeless soup kitchen or participate in a charity drive.

You help will be much appreciated!

Helping others is  a GUARANTEED REMEDY for winter blues.

  • Day 11 - What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

walking under the rain with music on your ears until soaking wet

after that dont forget hot shower

    :)

  • Day 11 - What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

We take our first week of vacation in the middle of the winter months an go somewhere warm and delicious.   Sometimes, instead of buying Christmas gifts, the trip is the gift.   Everyone comes back tanned and refreshed, ready and able to get through the rest it with a much better mindset.   In fact, many warm destinations are cheap to visit now, compared to the peak summer season.

  • Day 11 - What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

Ask yourself thoughtful questions about when it started.

Do you need to shed a tear or two?

You'll feel better just taking a moment to examine how that mood took hold.

Remember the happy moments of your life and smile.

Turn on your favorite music and force yourself to dance.

    Breathe deeply.

  • Day 11 - What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

Try to enjoy Winter for what it is - a peaceful yet somber lapse in time for the year. Winter is personally my favorite season. Walk the streets when it snows, and clear your mind. Usually, there are few outside compared to other seasons, so it's a quiet independence where you can feel free to do anything. Strolling around is my favorite thing to do, and it's incredibly relaxing. Some may say that Winter is chilling and brings about death, but I like to think of it as being more of a rebirth.

If the outside isn't your forte, then staying inside and enjoying that is fine, too. You will have a nice contrast of warm/cold and feel more satisfied when you're in your blankets or clothes, by the fire, or simply in a heated room.

  • beat the winter blues by eating a big plate of heirloom tomatoes on crackers with some type of blue cheese, either gorgonzola or danish bleu, on a good buttery cracker.

Be sure to season the tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil, salt and a littte dried basil or parsley.

  • get off the internet and give ur computer a few hrs break!!!

Make your environment brighter by opening the blinds and curtains to let some sunlight in.

do some excercise .... A 2005 study from Harvard University suggests walking fast for about 35 minutes a day five times a week or 60 minutes a day three times a week improved symptoms of mild to moderate depression

turn on some nice tunes and sing along to ur favourite songs.... In a 2013 study, researchers showed that listening to upbeat or cheery music significantly improved participant’s mood in both the short and long term

help out at ur local shelter..... volunteering your time can improve mental health and life satisfaction.

visit ur family and friends.... holdup... maybe not.... they may worsen ur winter blues in some casesexclamationtongue

go outside and soak in the fresh air.... Talking yourself into taking a walk when the temperatures plummet isn’t easy, but the benefits are big: Spending time outside (even when it's chilly!) can improve focus, reduce symptoms of SAD, and lower stress levels.

BEST OF ALL.... have a peice (or two) of chocolate... chocolate can help to enhance your mood and relieve anxiety

  • The thng that works best for me is music. I turn it up loud and dance and sing like nobody's watching. (Of course nobody is...lol) It gets me off the computer, off of my chair, and getting excellent excercise. It gets my blood flowing from my feet to my brain. It fills me up with a good feeling all over.

  • After the stress and sometimes crazy holidays, it does seem to be kind of a let down in Jan and Feb. Family and friends have gone home and it seems that all that is left is the mess. One thing I try to avoid is looking at the christmas bills that are coming due.lol Try to enjoy the peace and quiet. Get outside if you can, even if it is just getting the mail. The sun is a great source of vitamin D, 15 to 20 minutes does wonders for your mood. Last but not least. This time every year, my mother would always make us clean out our closets and toys stashes. Then we would take the goodies to our local shelter, and it felt like christmas all over again. I have carried on the tradition. It is better to give than receive.

  • Day 11 - What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

Winter also can be nic and really dont have to afraid lower temperature. Everything must get individual  method for better behavior and find positive even if reality is little different. I spending most of my time in no deposit bonuses hunt so time is ticking as well :)

ket it snow let it snow  lalala :D

  • What advice would you give someone to beat the winter blues?

This is going to sound crazy but, I do my winter house cleaning.  It's great exercise and I too also listen to my music really, really, loud.  I don't do a whole bunch of cleaning in just a few days. Rather, I stretch my chores out over a couple of months. This allows me more time in the Spring when the weather is nicer to get outside and enjoy not being cooped up!

It works for this old lady!  ;)

    Good luck everyone!
