Zurich To Host iGaming Affiliate Conference in June, Numerous Industry Speakers to Attend

Another important gathering event that will bring together figures from both iGaming and affiliate marketing spheres, and pose important questions on two matters, will be organized this summer in the heart of Europe.

The Swiss city of Zurich will be hosting the iGaming Affiliate Conference on June 20th. The entire event will be organized by Smile-Expo...

This will not be the first conference of this ilk this year, too – the Zurich happening will follow the already announced summit in Prague, Czech Republic that will take place on April 18th .

How the Host Country Was Chosen

The choice of Switzerland as a host for this particular event is a logical one: the country's Swiss Gaming Act became effective on January 1st which changes the domestic gaming landscapes by prohibiting foreign operators' activity.

This provision, which allows only for local brands to obtain a necessary gaming license, was quite controversial. The first applications for licenses which permit online gambling operations including poker and roulette will be issued until July 1st.
