Back Yggdrasil Strengthens Senior Management Team

Software provider, Yggdrasil Gaming, has made some changes to its management team recently, in an effort to strengthen its administrative body. In fact, it has just appointed Andrew Pegler as its latest chief commercial officer, while also making a lateral move, with Kryzstof Opalka being promoted to chief product officer, after having served as head of front end development and operations since April.

The company has been on a recruitment mission which has directly resulted in its doubling in size over the last year. With this significant increase, the company has been able to EXPAND its offices in both Malta and Poland, while also beginning development on a new project in Gibraltar.

Pegler joins the company with a history of employment at Scientific Games, for which he worked since 2013 as senior director of account management. His latest position places him with the role of strengthening the company’s presence in Gibraltar. Kryzstof, on the other hand, will be stationed in the Poland office.

Yggdrasil CEO, Fredrik Elmqvist, commented on the recent appointments: “As we continue to grow the business it is vital that we have the brightest minds and experienced hands on board, and Andrew and Krzysztof certainly meet those requirements. They will both play a key role in the future direction of the business.”

Pegler added, “Yggdrasil is a very exciting business with proven high quality games, agile technology, and the best in-game promotional tools in the industry. We are live with bet365 already from Gibraltar and we have a lot of operators on the roadmap. I will apply my commercial skills, experience and network within iGaming to truly establish Yggdrasil in Gibraltar and beyond.”
