Content creator giants Yggdrasil have announced that Skyrocket Entertainment, IP rights holder and branded content developer, has joined their flagship YG Masters programme.
The brand will gain access to Swedish brand’s latest GATI standardization technology in order to drive their global growth.
The Games Company, Skyrocket’s division for content development and distribution…
…will join the roster of the world’s most innovative independent studios and game developers on Yggdrasil’s YG Masters project that has seen partners design, develop and distribute the best-performing content using Yggdrasil’s proven technology and global network.
Skyrocket Entertainment was launched at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival…
……and transforms legendary Hollywood movies and branded intellectual property rights into games for social and real money gambling.
The brand has recently obtained the rights to recreate 75 feature films such as Rambo 4, The Expandables and The Fallen. They have purchased The Games Company in 2019 in order to expand its reach in delivering exciting games.
Skyrocket’s The Games Company will gain access to GATI, Yggdrasil’s regulation-ready, preconfigured development toolkit. It helps studios and game developers enable and use standardized technology to develop and distribute games anywhere.
The YG Masters partners can source, build, and distribute content and crucially accelerate global reach, finding new ways to increase revenues, all using one standardised interface.
GATI enables the Yggdrasil Decentralized Aggregation Network (DAN) and all partners integrated to GATI will be cross-selling their games to any global Yggdrasil Franchisee. This unique model enables scaling of distribution, boosting revenue opportunities and developing new ways of collaborating.
Yggdrasil’s Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing, Stuart McCarthy, said of this latest partnership:
“Skyrocket has grown rapidly in a very short space of time, however by joining YG Masters they will be able to greatly accelerate that progress and scale, with access to an unlimited audience, all powered by our revolutionary GATI technology. I am positive that our customers and their players will enjoy the innovative games delivered from our Skyrocket partnership.”
Chief Operations Officer at Skyrocket Entertainment, Richard Clarke, added:
“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Yggdrasil. YG Masters has been a phenomenal success for its members and the recent addition of GATI technology will provide us with the firepower we need to significantly boost and further grow our global operations in the most efficient and secure way.”
