Days after striking strategic partnerships with Enlabs brand Optibet and Game Lounge, a marketing agency, Yggdrasil Gaming, has continued to expand the reach of its leading online gaming content by signing an agreement with Fortuna Entertainment Group, a foremost operator in Central Europe.
As an active provider of highly sought after casino solutions in a multitude of European markets, Fortuna is set to launch Yggdrasil’s offerings in territories such as Slovakia, Romania and Czech Republic, the group’s home address.
Next Stop for Acclaimed Slot Series
As reported by Fortuna Entertainment Group, this strategic distribution agreement will grant players in Central European jurisdictions access to all of Yggdrasil’s proprietary index and top of the line slot content. The roadmap includes not only recent releases such as Hades, Jackpot Express or Hyperburst, but the producer’s renowned Viking series, as well as innovative releases with a twist, namely Neon Rush Splitz, Lucky Neko Gigablox and Multifly.
Yggdrasil has secured a similar deal with Game Lounge on November 4th meaning that Fortuna will also be able to update its portfolio with YG Masters titles, such as BountyPop by AvatarUX or 2Gods: Zeus vs Thor Dual Spin, developed by 4ThePlayer.
Aside from the distributor’s innovative games, Fortuna will also benefit from the revolutionary GATI technology, specifically designed to accelerate global strategy and increase retention.
Fredrik Elmqvist, chief executive officer at Yggdrasil, said about this deal the following:
“We are delighted to partner with Fortuna, the largest operator group in Central Europe. Through this deal we will swiftly grow our presence significantly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. We have a very strong roadmap and are confident that Fortuna and their player community will enjoy our innovative, well known and exciting game titles. Both parties will now focus on the integration and planning for successful go live.”
COO at Fortuna Entertainment Group, Nicklas Zajdel, added:
“Yggdrasil has a sterling reputation as one of the premier game providers in the industry so we couldn’t be happier to integrate their content. With innovative mechanics and thrilling themes, its varied games portfolio will be fantastic for our customers and we can’t wait to see their reaction.”
Certified for Security Standards
To further expand into new markets and enter Central European jurisdictions such as Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, Yggdrasil had to acquire an ISO/IEC 27001 certification, a regulatory benchmark.
The leading global publisher of iGaming content across various verticals has proven its commitment to information security standards on October 28th, enabling the studio to broaden into new global markets and World Lottery Association.
Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil, said about certification:
“Receiving our ISO certification is something we are very proud of and rightfully so. We have been through a rigorous certification process to ensure compliance is held to the highest regard, which is something we pride ourselves on, and we are committed to continuous improvements in security standards. It is yet another feather in our cap as we continue to provide dynamic, immersive gaming experiences for players all over the globe, while also ensuring YG Masters continues to grow in a secure environment.”
The developer’s next upcoming game is Moley Moolah, scheduled for 16 November.

Really? A new content distribution arrangement, already? Why is Yggdrasil so suddenly interested in developing EU markets, there’s got to be a good reason for this decision.
