Shortlisted Candidates for Our Gala Event and Contest Winners Selected!

Time flies, doesn’t it? It seems as if only yesterday we announced our very own signature event LCB Awards 2022, but believe it or not, we actually unveiled it back in May. Today, we’re excited to tell you that the voting is closed, so we’d like to give you a complete insight into the shortlist of candidates in 8 categories. Winners will be announced during a live gala evening in Malta at Sky Club Malta on November 15, 2022.

During this period, both LCB members and guests were given a unique opportunity to take part in a massive $12,000 prize pool contest. By voting for the candidates, they helped us narrow down the list of nominees, but they also qualified for some of the numerous valuable cash prizes. We’ve selected the contest winners in a random drawing from the drum during a live stream.

The idea for an international awards event was born with a goal to celebrate brands that have been putting continuous efforts to provide unparalleled player experience while supporting and educating consumers. It aims to recognize the individual brand’s overall contribution to making the iGaming industry both safe and entertaining.

Introducing Top 10 Candidates from 8 Categories

Before you meet the shortlisted candidates, allow us to give you a brief summary of how the voting process for this year’s LCB Awards went. Each of the categories included a list of 20 nominees except 'Members Choice' where the list was larger.

Candidates were nominated according to multiple requirements and key features which are generally considered important to players. These include fair terms, helpful customer support, a solid selection of games and bonuses, and more. As for the two categories related to particular game genres, the candidates were selected based on technical, gameplay, and payout features.

#1 Best Online Casino

To be classified as the “best online casino”, an operator should not only meet but exceed players’ expectations. Such a brand needs to provide efficient payments, helpful and professional customer support, a great selection of bonuses and games, and more.

Let’s Hear It for the Winners of the $12,000 Contest!

We might have to wait two months and a half to find out who are the winners of LCB Awards 2022, but we don’t have to wait a single second to tell you the names of the winners of the contests.

Voters had the chance to vote once a day until the end of the contest on September 1, 2022. Both members and guests were permitted to vote in all categories, thanks to which they could collect a maximum of 8 raffles/tickets per day.

A total of 45 contest winners were selected in a random drawing from the drum during a live stream, receiving the following cash prizes:

1st prize: $2000

2nd prize: $1000

3rd prize: $1000

4th prize: $750

5th prize: $500

6th - 10th prizes: $250

11th - 45th prizes: $100

In addition to this, participants with the highest number of votes who didn’t receive one of the top 10 prizes in the random prize draw, had the chance to grab one of 10 consolation prizes from a total pool of $2,000:

The jury appointed by LCB will finally select winners between the shortlisted candidates in all categories except Members Choice. Casino winners will be announced and awarded during a live gala evening in Malta at Sky Club Malta on November 15, between 19:30-23:00, sponsored by SIGMA .

Once again, we’d like to thank you, the voters, for participating in one more project we came up with. The voting was not just an opportunity to collect valuable rewards, but to contribute to making trustworthy brands and products more visible to other players. At the end of the day, exchanging experiences is what our platform is about, and this was the best way to give players a chance to share their preferences with others and select the most prominent brands.
