Hacksaw Gaming, a Malta-based company, has just made a significant strategic move to expand its offer to the global market by striking a partnership deal with Videoslots.
The company that continues to push for a mobile-first strategy has added a number of operators to its growing partner list recently.
Becoming The Leading Scratch Card Provider
Hacksaw entered 2019 with a clearly defined strategy. The plan was quite simple and it consisted of two segments.
The first one was to research and establish what the company’s key partners in different parts of the world, for example, Relax Gaming in Europe and Patagonia for Latin America. The second part of the plan was to sign some large deals at the beginning of this journey to show that their products are valued by the industry leaders.
In the case of this latest partnership, the company has seen a portion of its portfolio go live with Videoslots.com, which was made possible through the Relax Gaming platform.
The Head of Casino at Videoslots, William Ahlberg explained:
“This latest deal with Hacksaw Gaming marks yet another step forward in our journey to become the biggest and the best online casino operator. The quality of its portfolio is clear for everybody to see and their wide variety of offerings are a welcome addition to Videoslots.com. Our players are sure to be as happy about the news as we are.”
At the moment…
…some of Hacksaw titles, such as Happy Scratch, King Treasure, and Scratch! Bronze, are available for players through the Videoslots casino. The rest of their content will go live in the next couple of weeks, as projected under the terms of the contract.
Marcus Cordes, COO at Hacksaw, added:
“Our journey seems to be going from strength to strength, and we are very excited to see our portfolio going live on Videoslots casino library over the next few weeks. The popularity and the level of excellence Videoslots have achieved…
…over the past years is no secret, so having partnered up with another strong operator within the industry is a step in the right direction into reaching our goal, which is to become one of the leading scratch card providers out there.”
In a recent interview, Cordes spoke about the current growth surrounding the scratch card part of the industry and the thinking about the mobile-first strategy, where he stated:
“We feel that this segment was in need for a fresh new look. Scratch cards need to be added to the player’s radars as they are also an easy way of winning big. Instant wins can be just as successful as slots, proof being that our first €100,000 jackpot was in Germany, 24 hours after LeoVegas released the game.”

I’m glad they are focusing on a less popular gambling sector and trying to make it better.
