Back Videoslots Assigns David Cutajar To CFO Position

Award-winning online casino operator headquartered in Malta, Videoslots.com has appointed David Cutajar as its new CFO (chief financial officer).

Cutajar’s tenure with this brand began in July 2016, when he was named head of finance. During this period, he propelled and directed financial sector of the company, but also increased the number of personnel in this course of time.

‘Cutajar Is Perfect Choice’

Prior to joining Videoslots, David had several spells in senior finance positions at soft games publisher King and sports betting operator WINunited.

The brand looks forward to putting Cutajar skills of a well-versed specialist to a good use - in particular, he has an outstanding knowledge of the company’s products, partners and current trends.

He is the laureate of “WOW Award” at the Videoslots Awards, which further emphasizes the admiration of his colleagues.

Chief executive, Alexander Stevendahl, stated that the operator had finalized what he deems an ideal acquisition in terms of human resources:

“The appointment of David Cutajar as our new Chief Financial Officer is one that we are all delighted about, with his previous position of Head of Finance making him the perfect choice.

He has years of experience and is already highly esteemed by those around him and we are excited to move forward with David at the financial helm.”, added Stevendahl.

Newly appointed Cutajar was pleased with this turn of events, exclaiming:

“Working at Videoslots has been rewarding and exciting since day one and I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge.”

Troubling Period Left Behind

With the brand’s quest to maintain a reputation of a prominent and respected name in the iGaming industry, the last year was quite challenging for Videoslots, as they faced some serious difficulties:

The United Kingdom Gambling Commission has undertaken a general legal action against casino operators and brands that failed to execute and enforce protection of vulnerable players and prevent money laundering.

In their reports, the submitted results of investigation pointed out that the aforementioned site was ordered to pay £1 million in fines.

On a brighter note, they have been granted a license by the Swedish Gambling Authority, enabling them to establish all services in the newly re-regulated marketplace that formally kickstarted on January 1st.

Alexander Stevendahl recently said that “the company is optimistic about the potential of Swedish market and is thankful for the opportunity to help it grow.”

Over the summer, the brand was keen to introduce new titles to their ever-growing gaming repertoire. Eleven popular titles from two thriving gaming providers were added to the catalog – Magic Dreams and Spieldev Gaming

The shop’s expansion of slot game offerings continued with the addition of other 15 titles to their lobby, including classic editions such as Lava Loca, Bollywood Story, and 5 Lions.

According to the management, the key objective for 2019 is to go along with the vision of “creating a unique entertainment destination that can attract both the heart and soul of players by offering technical brilliance”.
