Testing CryptoLeo Casino: Successful Withdrawal of ETH 0.04 Despite Unclear Info on Max Cashout Limits

Back

Presenting itself as a hub for blockchain innovation that works without selling consumers’ data, Ethereum (ETH) acts as the foundation for communities, applications, organizations, and digital assets that anyone can build and use. Being a native cryptocurrency of the platform, Ethereum is a decentralized blockchain with smart contract functionality.

Integrating advanced cryptography and blockchain security, ETH turned out to be a perfect match for deposits and withdrawals in online casinos. To see how efficient this cryptocurrency is, LCB’s “From the Players for the Players” team sent a tester to CryptoLeo Casino and asked him to register, deposit, play some games, and request a cashout in ETH.

Before sharing all the tester’s insights with you, allow us to guide you through milestone moments of his journey through CryptoLeo Casino:

  • Tester of the day: Punakontti
  • Registration completed on September 4, 2024
  • Deposit of 0,093 ETH (200.86 €) made on September 4, 2024; the second deposit of 0,0265 ETH made on September 6, 2024
  • No KYC docs required on this occasion
  • Withdrawal of 0,04 ETH (86.33 €) requested on September 6, 2024
  • The tester received 0,04 ETH (85€) on September 7, 2024

So, we’ve seen tester having to repeat cashout requests due to incomplete KYC or some other issues, but repeated deposits?! Why did he need to replenish the balance twice, and on the same day as making a withdrawal request?

To have all the questions answered, keep reading our informative CryptoLeo Casino test report!

Registration

As in the vast majority of online casinos, the registration process at CryptoLeo Casino is quite straightforward.

Before filling in the sign-up form, he checked the Terms and Conditions, to get acquainted with how things work with this crypto-friendly operator. He then entered his e-mail, and password and selected ETH as currency.

Following this, he decided to complete his profile by adding more information such as first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, country, city, and so on. As soon as that was done, he verified his e-mail address and phone number.

“10.3. The Company reserves the right to close your User Account and to refund your funds from the balance of the User Account, subject to the deduction of relevant withdrawal charges, at the Company's absolute discretion and without any obligation to state a reason or give prior notice.”

Deposit

Having registered, the tester decided to add funds to his balance, by depositing 0.093 ETH, which, at the moment, amounted to EUR 200.86. As far as stated on the payment page, the gas fee of 0.00026191 ETH (EUR 0.56) was applied as well.

Following this, the tester validated the transaction by entering a confirmation code and authentication code (2FA).

A minute went by, but the amount was still not reflected on his casino balance. He reached out to the live chat support, where he requested to be transferred to a real human agent instead of chatting with a bot. The very moment he asked the agent about the deposit, the money appeared on his casino balance.

CryptoLeo Casino allows playing with the following currencies: EUR, BRL, CAD, NOK, NZD, CZK, ZAR, BGN, HRK, RON, BTC, and other cryptocurrencies. Deposits can only be made from a bank account, bank card, e-wallet, or other payment method registered in a player’s name.

The minimal amount of deposit is 0.0001 BTC, 0.01 ETH, 0.01 LTC, 1 DOGE, 1 ADA, 10 TRX, 0.01 USDT (TRC20), and 0.01 USDT (ERC20). The maximum amount of deposit depends on the payment method selected.

Interestingly:

“7.7. In the unlikely event of a player depositing cryptocurrency funds to another cryptocurrency network address (such as but not limited to sending BTC to a BCH address). CryptoLeo will not attempt to recover the amount unless it exceeds €5000. In such cases, a fee of 0.1 BTC will be charged to recover the lost funds to cover expenses to pursue the recovery, however, it's not a guarantee to get the funds recovered.”

Gameplay

Opening the gaming session was Capy Park by GameBeat, followed by Yggdrasil’s Florageddon! DuoMax and Dead or Alive II by NetEnt. Next in line were Book of Hor by GameBeat and SixSixSix by Hacksaw Gaming.

A day later, on September 5, 2024, the tester explored Georgie Porgie Rhyming Reels by Games Global, Beheaded, Stockholm Syndrome, and Land of the Free Home of the Wild, all by Nolimit City. Later on, he ventured into Fatz’s Diner GigaBlox, Wilhelm Tell by Yggdrasil, and Eager Beaver by Thunderkick.

On September 6, 2024, the tester tried luck with Bigger Bass Bonanza by Pragmatic Play, Dwarfs Gone Wild, and Ark of Mystery, both by Quickspin.

Second Deposit and Withdrawal

After quite a dynamic, yet not-so-rewarding multi-day gaming session, the tester wanted to place a withdrawal request on September 6, 2024.

However, he noticed that the remaining sum on his balance was lower than the minimum he was eligible to cash out so he decided to top up his balance once again. He deposited 0.0265 ETH and continued playing games.

He checked out Golden Fish Tank 2 GigaBlox by Yggdrasil, Crystal Quest: Frostlands, and Rex the Hunt, both by Thunderkick.

Believing that all conditions to make a withdrawal request were fulfilled, he typed in the desired amount of money to withdraw, however, it turned out that there was still 0.00159708 ETH left to wager (a bit less than EUR 4 at that time).

To meet the requirement, he had a couple of spins on Yggdrasil’s Cazino Zeppelin, and then finally made a request to cash out 0.04 ETH/ EUR 86.33.

A notification arrived immediately, informing him that the transaction was successful. The tester received the funds a day later, on September 7, 2024.

The minimal amount for withdrawal is 0.0002 BTC, 0.01 ETH, 0.01 LTC, 1 DOGE, 1 ADA, 10 TRX, 1 USDT (TRC20), 1 USDT (ERC20). The maximum amount for withdrawal depends on the payment method chosen, but the average limits amount to 5,000 USDT per day, 15,000 USDT per week, and 50,000 USDT per month.

However, it needs to be mentioned that there’s a difference between the minimum withdrawal amount when comparing Terms and cashier. In Terms, the stated minimum is 0.01 ETH, however, the cashier indicates that the sum is higher than that, amounting to 0.04 ETH, which can be seen on some of the previous screenshots.

Also, the amounts for maximum withdrawal per day, week, and month specified in the Terms are not the same as the sums stated on the “Accounts, Payouts & Bonuses” page.

To find out more about this discrepancy, our team reached out to the live chat support department. A screenshot of contradictory Terms was supplied as well, to which the chat agent responded by stating the limits in EUR (EUR 2,500 per day/ EUR 7,500 per week and EUR 15,000 per month).

Upon asking him where to find these sums in Terms, he noted that they aren’t listed in EUR, but players can contact the support at any time if they are worried that they will exceed the limits, and the support will provide assistance.

As mentioned, if the requested amount exceeds the limit of a particular payment system, the amount will be withdrawn in installments, at the casino’s discretion.

Before a withdrawal can be made, all deposits need to be confirmed. Also, players are required to play through active deposited amounts at least 3 times before becoming eligible to make a withdrawal request.

When it comes to the KYC process, although our tester wasn’t required to submit any documents during the test, sometimes ID verification may be required. The process may include a phone call or video call during which a player shows their documents as well.

Conclusion

It still remains unclear why the limits in the cashier (0.04 ETH) differ from the minimum amount in the Terms and on the Payments page (0.01 ETH). Luckily, the tester’s quick-witted reaction to making a subsequent deposit saved the day and enabled him to withdraw without any issues.

Also, chatbots in live chat can sometimes be quite annoying, but getting a real human agent wasn’t difficult after all. The agent’s response to our query on limits that don’t match clarified the situation.

Keeping Terms up to date, and corresponding with other pages would undoubtedly save time and eliminate unnecessary hassle, though.
