Aggregator Makes Further Step in Conquering iGaming Market

In what seems to be a busy month for SOFTSWISS, a leading iGaming supplier with powerful solutions for managing online casino and betting business, there is already a new announcement – it regards the formal acquisition of a betting and casino license for Serbia.

As reported, the expansion will push the brand’s presence in local regulated markets. This license was issued by the Games of Chance Administration (GCA) of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, as it represents the national organization that is in charge of arranging special games of chance through electronic communication.

Fourth License for SOFTSWISS in 2021

Received late in August 2021, this license makes the fourth market entry for SOFTSWISS this year. Earlier in the year, the software development company that provides gaming software and payment processing solutions officially entered Brazil, Nigeria and Greece.

The newly acquired license will give the recently rebranded aggregator an opportunity to operate in Serbia for 10 years. As disclosed, the software platform was approved by a qualified state laboratory as a precondition to securing the license.

It may come to you as a surprise, but the licensing process has made SOFTSWISS the very first company in Serbia allowed to operate exclusively online.

As a result, SOFTSWISS will soon announce the first iGaming brand on the Serbian market with a partner company. Although still under development, the project will integrate local payment methods and information exchange with the Games of Chance Administration.

Ivan Montik, founder of SOFTSWISS, revealed more in regard to the company’s latest licensing efforts and said:

Entering the Serbian market is another important step towards strengthening and expanding the SOFTSWISS brand in Europe. We were the first to be licensed as a purely online operator rather than growing out of the classic land-based casino model.

Montik remains confident that the company’s 13 years of experience in online entertainment, along with its strong team, energy, drive and innovative approach will deliver the best online solutions for operators and players in the Serbian market.

He also pointed out an interesting fact that will help SOFTSWISS reach its goals in a shorter period of time.

It refers to Serbia’s history and national mentality which have always been close to Belarusians, the company’s home country (SOFTSWISS in July 2009 in Minsk, the nation’s capital).

An Important Year

Montik also looked back at the past achievements in this year and said that the company has made several big milestones in relation to expanding its foothold in local markets, where the potential for growth is immense.

All these accomplishments are a part of the company’s global development strategy whose aim is to expand the brand’s presence further within the industry.
