SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited Signs Deal With Gaming Innovation Group (GiG)

Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG), has made a long-lasting deal with SKYCITY Malta Limited. They are a division of the New Zealand based SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited. The deal was made for the provision of GiG's turnkey online casino solution that includes a gambling license as well.

The solution would include fully managed services, front and end development, the technical platform, gaming content, CRM, compliance and marketing. They will operate their online casino site from Malta. It would be on behalf of SKYCITY and would offer gambling to clients in New Zealand.

SKYCITY’s growth in its new vertical of online casino is supported by GiG and is powered by its cutting-edge flexible architecture, technology, and industry know-how.

It is a recorded company in Australia and New Zealand as well. It is also NZ’s biggest and most famous leisure, entertainment and Tourism Company with casino gaming establishments in both countries. SKYCITY owns four out of six land-based casinos that are currently operating in NZ.

All gambling activities that take place in New Zealand are managed by the country’s Department of Internal Affairs and the overall anticipation is that the nation will control online casino gambling in the years to come.

GiG does not expect a material impact on its income this year since the launch of online casino contribution is planned for Q3 2019. It means that this partnership is expected to make a notable positive offering to GiG's earnings from 2020 onwards.
