Real Time Gaming (RTG) will be gracing us with an exciting new slot game this August. Set your calendars for the release of Gemtopia, scheduled to premiere at South Africa’s, Springbok Casino on August 16th.
The launch serves as part of the site’s plan to go live with a minimum of one new game per month. The August premiere will see the game available across all devices and attracting players who are fond of similar titles like, Bejeweled. Shimmering gemstones grace the screen on this 5-reel, 15-payline slot offering.
When it comes to the meat and potatoes of the game, there are two attractive bonus modes to look forward to. A Wild Re-Spin Feature is initiated when an expanding wild gem lands on the reels. When this happens, players receive an instant re-spin, where the expanded wild stays in place. Any wilds accrued after the re-spin, will initiate yet another re-spin.
Free games with a Bonus Picks Feature can also be triggered. Enjoy a series of 15 free games, during which Bonus gems are added to the reels. Three or more on the reels can award additional free games, and an instant prize consisting of a 1000x bet per Bonus Gem! A PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT may also be triggered at any moment.
Springbok Casino manager, Daniel van Wyk, commented, “We like to think all out games are gems at Springbok, but Gemtopia is literally a shower of gems. That’s what makes the game so mesmerizing and beautiful to behold.”
He continued, “We’re committed to providing fresh content every month to keep you guys happy, but it’s not just any old content. It’s about bringing you the latest, most cutting-edge and most-engaging new games out there, and Gemtopia is the latest testament to that.”

Springbok is a good operation. I am just wondering why there is so much creation of new slot games by all casino's constantly? Aren't all slots more or less, if not the same, then at least similar under the surface? I sometimes think of the various games as variations on a deeper theme which is always the same. Spinning...
Springbok is a good operation. I am just wondering why there is so much creation of new slot games by all casino's constantly? Aren't all slots more or less, if not the same, then at least similar under the surface? I sometimes think of the various games as variations on a deeper theme which is always the same. Spinning reels randomly generate various combinations of payline results, in addition to scatter symbols and other bonus features which can possibly pay and are common to all of these games. I guess the entertainment value of shifting surfaces keeps the audience from getting bored. Supply and demand and all that. Yes, maybe I am critical to the point of jaded cynicism...but still I keep playing.
