Guess what? It’s Pragmatic Play news again! Boy, do they ever get tired of new partnerships?
Apparently not!
The company has announced a brand-new cooperation deal, this time with Kindred Group… sounds familiar? Unsurprisingly, the move is aimed at aiding the supplier’s expansion into regulated markets.
Pragmatic Play’s CCO, Melissa Summerfield, comments:
“We are very pleased that Kindred Group will be delivering our content to its customers, allowing them to further their online casino and gaming experiences with our engaging and diverse range of mobile-first products. Pragmatic Play aims to make every game exciting, innovative and immersive, with a broad appeal that all players can love, and we are excited to deliver our products to Kindred’s brands.”
The content to be distributed includes some of the most popular slots of Pragmatic’s, including the latest release, Ancient Egypt Classic and the award-winning Wolf Gold.
The move is a significant one, seeing as Kindred brings together as many as eleven brands (read more below).
Cristiano Blanco, head of gaming at Kindred Group, says that Pragmatic’s products are a “natural fit for us as we continue to offer players only the most engaging online casino games.”
At the same time, head of casino at Kindred Group, David Robertson, notes that its company’s newest partner’s brilliant habit to regularly release content is certain to lead to an “exciting and fruitful partnership”.
Pragmatic representatives are no less convinced in the success lurking just around the corner. The official statement detailing the Kindred deal explains:
“We recently cemented our position as one of the market’s leading providers with the acquisition of live casino studio Extreme Live Gaming.”
Once going by the name of Unibet Group Plc, Kindred Group is an online gambling operator comprising multiple brands. The best known of those are Unibet, Maria Casino, iGame, and 32Red. The business offers various products, such as sports betting, online casino, online poker, and online bingo.
The industry mastodon is registered in Malta, with major offices located in London, Stockholm, and Gibraltar, plus smaller ones in Australia and other European cities.
In 2014, Unibet shareholders approved the proposed spin-off of its B2B subsidiary Kambi Group Plc., with a 95% of the group’s shares being subsequently distributed to Unibet.
As for “cementing their position”, it is only fair to say that Pragmatic has indeed done their best to boost the expansion. In a matter of mere months, the company has partnered with a number of leading iGaming names, including Casumo and Rank Group.
Mentioning only the most recent of deals here, the provider has partnered with Paf Casino only days ago - the move to have left both sides vividly delighted at the prospects to come.
Immediately following the announcement, Paf’s head of games operations, Eric Castro, put things as eloquently as:
“We always look to team up with innovative and exciting companies that match our own ethos, and Pragmatic Play offers exactly that”.
Another notable partnership of Pragmatic’s is that with PokerStars Casino. The deal was agreed in October and, under its terms, the vendor’s products have been made available via the operator’s far-reaching platform.
In case you were wondering why poker of all things, allow us to remind you that, upon acceding the Novomatic deal, Pragmatic added a number of live dealer games. Notwithstanding poker, the operator also acquired the video slots and numerous roulette games formerly owned by Extreme Live Gaming.
