PokerStars to Integrate Quickfire Platform

Amaya Inc’s PokerStars brand will be taking its content to the next level with the help of Microgaming’s Quickfire platform. The two Isle of Man companies recently shook hands on a deal that will see the introduction of a wide range of titles in the desktop and mobile casino lobbies by summer 2017.

It’s about time these two joined up. The almighty Microgaming has been dazzling players with a portfolio of over 600 games that has steadily grown since the provider’s inception in the 1990’s. PokerStars experienced ups and downs since its 2001 debut, but today, they have accepted over 108 million registrations and dealt in excess of 165 million hands.

The Quickfire platform will be integrated to give players access to the largest progressive jackpot network, hundreds of slots including branded games and table games.

Proud of the deal, Andrew Clucas, Director of Quickfire at Microgaming, commented, “Signing a major industry name like PokerStars is always exciting for the Quickfire team and wider Microgaming business. With their offices only a stone throw away from ours, it’s great to be working closely with PokerStars through a content agreement that will bring our range of games to their millions of players across the globe.”

Guy Templer, Chief Operating Officer of PokerStars, said, “Microgaming needs no introduction. Their expertise in building industry leading slot games is second to none. PokerStars Casino customers will be able to play the best content that Microgaming’s Quickfire platform has to offer. This includes top hit slot games, massive brands and huge jackpot games. We have no doubt that Microgaming’s games will be very well received by our players and they will consolidate our position as the world’s fastest-growing online casino.”
