Third-Party Studio Joins Wider Content Network
After making a splash with fresh new content in May, the Isle of Man based developer Microgaming continues to expand its growing list of partner gaming studios with Gold Coin, a software company from Reno, Nevada.
The developer’s most recent project went live on 20 May, called Silver Seas, while the upcoming Treasure Tracks comes with Connectify Pays, a new mechanic that connects trains along win lines, enabling customers to reach 5000x their bet.
Raising Production Quality
Although the studio hasn’t spent too much time on the market, as it was established in 2018, its roadmap already contains a specifically tailored collection of slots, released via the Microgaming platform.
The list includes Arthur’s Gold, published in July 2020 and based on the medieval Arthurian legend, while the following three titles complemented this line up and provided players with a deep-sea adventure in Aquatic Treasures, the radiant safari in Animals of Africa as well as the action-packed Bushi Sushi.
As already mentioned, Gold Coin Studio unveiled its fifth release, Silver Seas, on 20 May, featuring a swashbuckling pirate adventure with Microgaming’s top of the line EpicStrike mechanic. The next release, Treasure Tracks, will arrive at the station on 8 July this year, while the company promises more content in the second half of 2021 and beyond.
“All of us here at Gold Coin Studios are thrilled to work with Microgaming and have had a brilliant experience so far. Our extensive land-based gaming experience has given us a great base to work from and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got coming up,” explained John Duffy, chief executive at Gold Coin Studios.
As stated by Andrew Booth, director of games at Microgaming, the company’s latest partner has already launched a host of impressive releases over the past year as part of the wider Microgaming network. The director is looking forward to seeing more successful projects in the upcoming period that would cement the developer’s place in Microgaming’s roster of exclusive studios.
A Month of Jackpots
We recently published an article about Microgaming’s latest monthly rollout featuring a superb selection of progressive slots, designed and developed by Triple Edge, SpinPlay, Alchemy and other contributing studios. The ongoing month is still bringing the action to the next level, as third-party distributors such as BTG, MGA and other brands are presenting their games in the following days – King of Cats, Risitas en Gangsters, Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon Megaways and more.
If you missed some of the titles, check our report on Microgaming’s bonanza of fresh content in May and uncover what comes in the final week of this month before a new summer collection hits the shelves.
Microgaming has recently made 20 donations to Isle of Man charities to marks two decades since landing on the island’s shores.
