Long-term alliance between Playtech and GVC Holdings, signed in March 2019, is getting an upgrade, as both companies decided to launch a live casino studio, Elevation.
The project will be realized in stages over the next two months, as each sports betting and gaming group plans to contribute with separate marketing campaigns that feature five blackjack tables as well as a roulette wheel room.
According to GVC and Playtech, Elevation will represent a true visual spectacle for players, amplifying live casino experience and bringing it to a whole new level.
As already mentioned, the agreement between these two gambling companies boasts full-scale inclusion of betting products with leading gaming brands. Terminals across Western Europe, Ireland and UK are supplied by Playtech, allowing customers from these jurisdictions to enjoy high end gaming products on the go.
Shimon Akad, COO at the company comments:
“As the parent company behind some of the most iconic brands in online gambling, GVC has been a key partner for us for many years, and we’re delighted to be extending that partnership with the development of Elevation.
We’ve significantly invested in our Live Casino technology and facilities in recent years, in addition to continually diversifying our content – so in a year when we’ve done more than ever to enhance our product, it seems only fitting to be working with an industry leader to deliver an ever-more innovative live experience.”
Providing extra variants as well as other major releases coincides with long-term plans of Playtech’s Live Casino team, aiming to expand to new regulated markets in 2020.
During the course of last six months, technology leader in gambling and financial trading industries rolled out its first dedicated roulette table in Spain and extended the library with two new arrivals - Quantum and American Roulette.
Among other products were also Heads Up Hold’em, All Bets Blackjack and the upgraded version of Hi-Lo Club. The provider’s variants are supported by Engagement Centre and maximize CRM through a personalized experience.
“Live Casino is one of the major growth areas in the online gambling market, with players looking for a more immersive, entertainment-driven experience. Significant investment has gone into delivering the first stage of the Elevation studio and we’re delighted with the results.
Playtech’s track record and experience in delivering innovative Live Casino technology and content is unsurpassed. We’re looking forward to continuing our successful partnership and delivering a world-class player experience,” said Shay Segev, COO at GVC Holdings.
At the end of October, the British sports betting and gambling company has been named the overall Operator of the Year at the EGR Awards. Concurrently, the gaming group signed an exclusive partnership with Yahoo Sports and BetMGM.
