Canadian online casino operator, Mohawk Online, has signed a deal that will see their Sports Interaction Casino Playtech's premium branded slot titles, inspired by the plateau of legendary superheroes from the DC Comics universe. Superman and his modern Man of Steel incarnation, Spiderman, Suicide Squad, Green Lantern and the classic Batman series from the 1960s and 1970s will all be a part of the first batch of characters we will see transferred from TV screens and comics onto slot machines. Thanks to their content deal with Warner Bros, Playtech holds exclusive rights for production and development of slot games based on DC's superheroes – and this kind of surprise comes just in time to coincide with the superhero mania that has swept across the globe in recent years and saw the production of numerous movies on the subject. The supplier used to have a nearly identical business deal with Marvel, also known for their comic franchise.
Joseph Norton of Mohawk Online Limited remarked that this deal is a landmark achievement for the company.
