London-headquartered video slot specialist and leading game provider Playtech has launched their second game in Community Live Slots series - Age of the Gods: God of Storms. The game will be, to start, available with several Flutter Entertainment casino brands.
Community Live Slots is a cross-vertical concept that was launched in late 2019 with Buffalo Blitz and it “turns slot play into a collective experience.”
A Community of Gamers
The first live game that featured community spins with all players that participated playing the game together…
…was Buffalo Blitz. This concept is based on a live studio stream, with a host leading the game and providing commentary. Community Live Slots recreate the feel of a game show and bring a slot play to life in a new way.
Live streamers act as hosts and God of Storm will continue this exciting new tradition with recreating the stream environment with sound effects and integrated players chat functionality, which is the first of its kind in the industry.
It begins by players choosing their overall limit, a number of spins and bet per spin.
The game continues automatically with spins every few seconds.
The Game That Expanded Onto Multiple Verticals
The original Age of the Gods game was released in 2016…
…and has become an instant success leading it to expand into several verticals, such as live dealer, bingo and poker versions.
Playtech Live Casino CEO, Edo Haitin, comments:
“We’ve seen a fantastic response to Community Live Slots with Buffalo Blitz™, and are delighted to be bringing the ever-popular Age of the Gods™ brand to this new audience. Live Casino is essentially an entertainment-focused experience, and, in Community Live Slots, we are delivering an engaging and a truly collaborative new style of gameplay. Playable from just 1p a spin, God of Storms™ is consistently popular with newcomers to slots and seasoned players, and as such was a clear choice for attracting a wider audience to Community Live Slots.”
He added that the success of live play streaming shows that player demand for interactive experience you get when playing alongside others in a land-based casino very much exists.
Haitin claims that Community Live Slots recreates that feeling for players and makes an exciting cross-sell opportunity for operators.
- The Age of the Gods series has so far yielded these sequels:
- Ruler of the Sky
- Medusa and Monsters
- Apollo Power
- Goddess of Wisdom
- Furious 4
- Fate Sisters and more

When I saw the Live Slot for the first time, what the heck is going on with such a strange live game? Could we ever call it a "Live" game? But, on the second thought, I realized that people would play it with the Live streamer, which is pretty much the same reason for Twitch Live streamers and viewers. Don't you think...

Don't you think so? :) Well, LCB also give it a pilot test to Twitch early this year. So, that was right in the direction where this casino industry is developing, anyway... Let's try it out !!! :)

I really liked the original game, Age of the gods. Not really fan of the sequels but you never know...maybe I will change my mind after this one.

The only community live slots that I have ever seen it, Buffalo Blitz and I have never played it only watch. I found it entertaining but it failed to seduce me into putting my own money on the line. I will look for this new game and maybe I will take the plunge. Thank you for the story.
