Playtech Enters Agreement with IGT Supplier

Playtech has signed another major agreement in the iGaming market. The provider of unique gambling tech solutions has joined forces with IGT to expand its foothold across the globe.

According to the new arrangement, the supplier will be able to deliver games in the United States that feature incredible features, patented under the IGT name. The former is already established as the leading provider of slot games patents in the USA.

Playtech continues to bolster its presence in America after receiving a license in New Jersey. The brand has recently signed agreements with Bet365 and BetMGM, and the newest deal with IGT is part of the expansion plan.

The new licensing agreement is more than welcomed by the companies. Chief Operating Officer at Playtech, Shimon Akad said:

“The agreement with IGT represents another significant milestone in the growth of our presence in North America as we build on the momentum of the past few months. We look forward to offering the US market more of our market-leading software and technology in what is a rapidly growing US market”.

“We are delighted to have reached an agreement to provide Playtech with access to the largest game feature patent portfolio in the US. Working in partnership with Playtech will help propel our collective innovation and growth, and further validates our significant IP portfolio”.
