PlayStar Casino will make its debut in New Jersey in 2021’s second half, having signed a market agreement with Ocean Casino resort from Atlantic City.

The multi-year agreement will provide access to New Jersey players to the newly established online casino brand.

Advanced Possibilities

PlayStar’s launch is slated sometime for the H2 of this year…

…and Garden State players will be able to enjoy its content, pending the necessary licenses approvals from the Division of Gaming Enforcement authorities.

Their online offering will be all about the immersive experience that will be granted to visitors when they enter the casino’s website. They will invest heavily into personalization, user engagement and customer service that will put the punters at the center.

PlayStar Casino’s executive vice president and co-founder Adam Noble said:

“We are delighted to have secured access to the thriving New Jersey market through Ocean Casino Resort.

We have shaped our proposition through extensive market research and analysis of customer behaviour to ensure maximum engagement and entertainment. This is the first step towards PlayStar Casino becoming a favourite amongst players across the US.”

Chairman Joel Wikell added that for him it’s great to be back in the game.

“I founded Boss Media in the mid-nineties and brought many of the earliest online casinos to life. To get back in at this time when the technology and possibilities have advanced so much, is genuinely exciting. And we’re looking forward to doing it all over again.”

Much Ado…

New Jersey has been relatively active during January in regards to regulatory updates

…though perhaps not as much as other US states. In this month, DGE did not permit online gambling operators to offer promos to customers in order to reverse withdrawals from their account.

The previous update came in November, when the state’s senator introduced the legislation to allow fixed-odds betting on horse races.
