Play'n GO Goes Live With TWO New Slots: Phoenix Reborn and Mahjong 88

The games, titled Phoenix Reborn and Mahjong 8, are diametrically opposite in terms of visual execution, storytelling and gameplay. The former is inspired by the great and sadly vanished Aztec civilization, while the latter is a direct take on one of the oldest tile games originating in Asia.

...and include depictions of everything native to their lands in modern-day Central America, such as flora and fauna, elements of battle equipment, shamans, prophecies, and chores in the everyday life of an Aztec peasant.

The visual portion of the game is cleverly used to enhance the playing experience, as it gives way for the Wild feature to take center stage. A symbol of the mythical Phoenix bird (the one that rises from the ashes, a symbol of regeneration used throughout history) serves as the wild in the game.

A Game of Mahjong with Exceptional Beauty and Style

The supplier's second new title, Mahjong 88, is a gorgeous homage to the iconic Asian game of tiles. This reactor-style game has the unconventional configuration of 8 reels and 8 rows...

...and it takes place on one of the most beautifully designed backdrops, with equally ravishing tiles that serve as symbols. Set over a green pond (with a curious-looking frog sitting on sidelines and watching as you play), the game's winning combos are formed when four or more identical symbols are next to each other.

When winning formation does its magic, the symbols combining it vanish and are replaced by new tiles, which can lead to possible new winning combinations.
