After 53 long weeks in 2020, Play’n GO have finally released their ultimate title for the passing year, naming it simply: Piggy Bank Farm.
According to the studio, this isn’t just another exciting release, rather a milestone as it marks the fulfilment of its 52-game promise for 2020. This huge success is the equivalent to one game a week, including creation process, certification, promotion and launch in multiple jurisdictions on the same day.
Starting with Legacy of the Dead back in January, the Swedish iGaming studio and one of the leading content developers in the industry has come a long way, finishing the year with a story about Farmer Joe.
It’s been an incredible year for Play’n GO, as no other developer set their goals so high in one of the worst periods for online gaming. With the release of Piggy Bank Farm, the number of high-profile slots in the company’s portfolio has been increased like never before, performing brilliantly on the global scene day by day.
A casual slot at first sight, this title is actually perfectly optimized for a broader demographic. As already mentioned, the story revolves around a farmer who planted some plastic piggy banks with valuable coins on a field. Fans of the farming genre will be heavily entertained as gameplay brings a smile to players’ faces already on their first spin.
Although the adventurous Egyptian theme dominates the provider’s portfolio, including last week’s Golden Osiris, this latest release comes with a different outcome and carries a variety of possibilities that will make it another successful hit in the upcoming period.
As a reminder, other titles in 2020 such as Riches of Robin, Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena as well as Dawn of Egypt were among the top three releases according to players, while recently published Diamond Vortex, Gold Volcano and Riddle Reels offer a lot of innovation and multiple ways to strike a win. Rally 4 Riches is also a fine example of offering a brand-new entertainment format, a classic 3-reel slot with an exciting bonus reel and slick special features.
However, the year wouldn’t be complete without a couple of high-profile sequels, including the most anticipated Reactoonz 2, which saw record numbers on its release day, 1 October 2020. Although the year is over, the work isn’t, said CEO Johan Törnqvist, who also commented about the company’s success:
“We have seen ourselves progress and raise the bar year on year at Play’n GO and, while 2020 represents our most outstanding achievement to date, we’re still looking for more. We will continue to innovate, to entertain and to provide world-class services to our operating partners, as we look to cement our place as the worlds’ number one supplier. 2020 was great, 2021 will be even better.”
The studio’s enormous undertaking in a challenging year for the industry was more than a promise. At the beginning of 2020, Play’n GO made a pledge to its partners on delivering 52 high-quality titles to their lobbies, boasting the entertainment levels to the sky.
The company’s intent is to become the world’s number one supplier and to fulfill that goal, it will continue to forge its path to success throughout 2021 as well.
