Heavy Metal Slot Follow up House of Doom 2 is Live

Receiving accreditation from LOTBA to enter the Argentinian market isn’t the only news from Play’n GO this week. The provider is also very excited to finally announce the launch of its first sequel title of 2021 and a long-awaited spin-off, House of Doom 2: The Crypt.

Two years after presenting the original House of Doom video slot, which became an instant hit in the iGaming industry, busy Swedish supplier decided to provide a new experience by using different music for the game.

This time around, the soundtrack comes from an emerging rock band called “The Crypt” and exactly four of their songs are included: I love the Darkness, Mistress of Fire, Metal Priestess and Into the Crypt, all featured during gameplay.

The Long-Awaited Follow up

All said and done, House of Doom 2: The Crypt is the supplier’s first music slot sequel this year. It represents the long-anticipated follow up to its highly acclaimed first collaborative music slot House of Doom from 2018.

Unlike the original, this title comes with high volatility, 6000x maximum potential, 94.25% RTP, expansive coin size ($0.20 - $100) and 20 ways to win. Gothic headbangers and fans of the Swedish doom metal band will certainly rejoice when Spirit Game Frames and expanding wild respins kick in, including Crypt Spins, Spirit of Unity Wild and other immersive highlights.

Thanks to a beneficial collaboration with Swedish metal band Candlemas, the supplier’s House of Doom debut served as a successful start into what has become a popular section of games for Play’n GO.

This time, the plot features four different female character wild symbols, that step in for regular pay images to complete winning combinations. Queen of the Damned, Fire Mistress, Metal Priestess and Spirit of Unity bring respins, multipliers and symbol upgrades later during some other modes.

Over the past two years, the busiest supplier from Sweden continued to expand its heavy metal slot line up with titles like Annihilator, Demon, Saxon, Testament and Sabaton.

Each project found popularity with fans of music slots and heavy metal alike, keeping the provider motivated to proceed with the development of new editions on a quarterly basis, more or less.

Not Relying Purely on Bands

The latest release from Play’n GO has a lot of potential to become the next big hit, primarily thanks to a thumping soundtrack accompanied by several great attractions that can even combine during the game.

“Some slots based around bands have no effort put into gameplay. They’re relying on the fanbase to play the game purely because they recognize the faces,” said Martin Zettergen about the launch, CPO of Play’n GO.

According to him, the secret to a great music slot is not just relying on the band to draw in players. The developer must also make sure that it will be fun to players if you stripped away the slot’s branded theme.

This way, the end-product keeps players entertained and appeals to people that might not necessarily be fans of the said music genre.
